Gallup Future 1?

I get the feeling this year we'll be spreading the ball around so effectively that talk of No. 1 and No. 2 won't actually mean much.

- what i'd like to gain with both cooper/gallup duo that has the same impact as a torry holt/issac bruce duo - both are interchangeable as move the chains, run after the catch, and deep vertical threats.
you really know if they are No.1s and pro bowl caliber when matched against the better pro bowl CBs

- i think Gallup is well on his way to being a No.1 feature-like WR. another big difference between No. 1 vs a No.2 is the mentality.
No.1 guys tend to get stronger as the game goes on, ..as the game becomes clutch in the deciding moments - they keep coming up big when the game is on the line - No.2 guys come in spots and occasions but they tend to wind down and lose focus. it's not on the same level as the featured guy.

-Gallup is showing all the growing attributes of a gamer.
he is showing up in these games, he's making plays that impact the game - he's not disappearing in these games, He's showing the ability to go thru traffic and take the tough hits over the middle, he's a natural catcher, he's still showing a knack for getting deep downfield, he's making the physical, in-close plays even with defenders hanging over him.

- we haven't went to it yet, but he has fade jump ball ability in end zone. i've compared his upcoming and ability to Steelers JuJu Smith. - he won't wow you with the blazing 40 time but yet he defiitely plays fast on the playing field . he's toasting and separating from even these supposedly 4.4 timed guys.

- it may already be growing concern with opposing teams that they cannot afford to just roll their double coverage towards Cooper- as gallup is going to feast upon single coverage hes' given. and the pace the cowboys huddle in and out , and the way our route tree is designed and the way we are moving our formations
around and taking the deep safety out of the middle for over the top huge plays, teams cannot afford to be so preoccupied with doubling cooper., imo.

Was thinking the same thing, but not sure the Cowboys FO would take that big of a risk.
whats the difference here, I mean there were fans screaming we should not overpay Zeke and develop pollard, yet when we have a clear player like Gallup progressing quickly becoming big target, similar to what JUJU did behind Brown and you have a player like Amari who is a great player but may demand more then hes actually worth..

He is NOT Julio Jones, Mthomas, or realy an OBJ/BRown type WR.. Hes worth 17-18 but seems to be eyeing more then that..im saying with Gallup on the come up, Devin Smith, Cedwilson, and Jarwin all look like with time they can round our this wr group as more then ready should, the need arise to let Amari walk.

None of us want that but it does leave a parachute for the FO to lean on , some leverage if you will..

I get your point but OBJ is so overrated. Give me Amari over him.

Amari is bigger, faster, better route runner, and best of all he isn't a selfish teammate like OBJ.

Beckham is fools gold. Never does nothing besides making a flashy play here and there.

sorry I get the diva thing but OBJ with a better QB is as good as his reputation. its not just flash.. I hate him because he was a giant but we have to judge production.. when healthy hes better than AMARI, period..OBJ is not a one trick pony.. am I glad we have Amari over him , sure, less drama and Amaris good in his own right but right now heck Gallup is ahead of Amari so far and thats the argument..

Well we'll see.

OBJ is in a perfect situation to perform.

+1

I tend to agree too, while I am so glad that Coop is not the knucklehead that creates friction in locker room, coaches, management and with the QB, such as Beckham and AB does, Amari as a player
still is not on the level of those two,.. and definitely not Julio, ...

I do think he's a better overall player than Saints Mike Thomas, who's not as top end explosive in the deep vertical game as Cooper is,..JMHO.
