So we forgetting that the timeframe coming off an ACL will put him at 100% next season? This goes back to the Cooper trade. It should not have happened.

so so so so so True......giving away both Cooper and Cedrick Wilson pure stupidity....with Cooper he was ALWAYS double teamed which left our other good receivers more open....remember the numbers Dak would pass for?

i mean a lot of 400 yds passing....34 TD's 10 INT's....arrow pointing up.....losing Cooper severely handcuffed our receiver corps....no reason....we had money...even with lousy QB's at Cleveland Cooper is playing great

so so so so upset...right now......i want all managment to suffer at least "Water-boarding".....sorry over the top

mr Cydios----Gallup is not 100% because it takes 2 years to fully recover from ACL.....but he is good enough to be a 3 easily
I agree and even then there might be a chance he never has the exact same speed. I would be happy keeping him at Number 3 spot for the rest of the year.

He was bad last season before he got hurt, I was shocked they signed him and traded Cooper.

Seems odd that they can't at least get him the ball on slants after using play-action to draw the LBs in.
Lol, the offense was good in this game.

Wilson? You do realize that for the Dolphins he has 12 receptions for 131 yards and 0 tds? Hardly somebody that was stupid to give away.

And what about Cooper? Didn't most everyone hear complain he disappeared in big games, was hurt a lot and cost too much?

Guess the old saying is true "Absence makes the heart grow fonder"....

I love the dude, but with depth coming in and he's been a practical no show since he came back from injury. His highlight today is a block.
It was pure genius to trade Cooper and resign an injured mediocre receiver. Maybe the dividends are delayed till next year.

Pretty obvious that he has no lateral quickness. Looks like he is afraid to cut on that knee. Also can't high point the ball like before the injury. Bottom line is he is not ready for prime time right now.

PS. Cooper playing with some crappy QBs has almost 1000 yards in Cleveland. Great trade Jerry.

He’s always had an average target to catch ratio of around 50 percentile and most of his routes in his best years were go routes.

Give him a chance. He’s less than a year back from a major knee injury.

Another example of how many here have the intestinal fortitude of a 2 month old baby. As soon as some adversity hits they start whining and give up. Everyone of you in this thread who agrees with the OP are guilty. Bring out your pacifiers and watch Sesame Street instead. You’re not worthy to be fans of anything.

Yup. We let Cooper and Wilson go for him. I would have rather had Wilson than Gallup…

nope, totally agree. I love Gallup but he isn’t commanding double coverage and most of his catches are contested precisely because his route running and quickness aren’t there. Noah Brown has overachieved and gets open from scheme and diverted attention but he’s not winning any one on ones either. Our TEs have essentially been more of our #2 option. And none of our corps are scaring defenses deep. I was hoping James Washington would add that dimension and force defenses to keep a safety deep which would open up a lot of shorter stuff and runs. Maybe TY will…? What really perplexes is why we waited so long to add him. We knew Washington wasn’t playing week 1 and TY was sitting on the couch.
Hilton chose to sit out this long to get his body right from a string of injuries. He wasn't an option early in the season.

Cooper was the "Micah" of the offense. Even when he was schemed out of games, he made an impact by opening up opportunities for the other guys. I think based on the statistical output from our starting QB that it was a bad decision to part ways with him, regardless of his numbers last season.

Lol you are so sensitive about OSU players man. Brown played great but that was huge drop hit him right in the hands. He made some damn good catches this year but hes also had huge drops in his career yesterday was one of them. BTW i see OSU had like the number 1 QB decomitt today but i didnt see where he was going
Ah.....so I'm supposed to blast our player for one play.

When Dak threw it in the dirt in ot against the raiders last year...man you went ape ship crazy for people criticizing one play.

Now you defend it? What a hypocrite.

You sure are sensitive girl sbout Ohio state....yet furiously defend Dak no matter what..

Lol you must got me confused with rockport and I’m perfectly fine when blasting Dak when he’s the culprit unlike others so you can stop the lying

my issues are when Dak gets blasted and the rest of the problems ignored

sensitive about OSU would be you. Not I and you know it lol.I’m pretty consistent I can’t stand them it don’t bother me when zeke or Noah gets blasted

little girl? Usually when one lashes out in manner you do it is more indicative that THEY are the child.
You went ballistic in this thread at someone blaming brown for the loss when in fact his drop played a HUGE role in the loss

quit while you’re behind
