He can’t separate.

He’s clearly lost some burst after the injury. Glad Jerry paid him after an injury. Just brilliant.

There’s a reason the FO feels they need to find TWO more WRs for the playoffs.

It's a major concern. If Tampa decides to take CD away, you need your other WRs to win 1-on-1 battles. A hobbled Gallup and Noah Brown simply aren't good enough.

I don’t believe he’s done. I do believe, probably like any wideout, he needs to get involved early. There have been glimpses, the jump ball fade against Indy. Couple of slants where you saw explosion.

fact is, he needs 18 months post surgery to resemble the old Gallup. Only an idiot, or in this case 2 idiots, would think he’d be same old Gallup 9-12 months post ACL repair

nope, totally agree. I love Gallup but he isn’t commanding double coverage and most of his catches are contested precisely because his route running and quickness aren’t there. Noah Brown has overachieved and gets open from scheme and diverted attention but he’s not winning any one on ones either. Our TEs have essentially been more of our #2 option. And none of our corps are scaring defenses deep. I was hoping James Washington would add that dimension and force defenses to keep a safety deep which would open up a lot of shorter stuff and runs. Maybe TY will…? What really perplexes is why we waited so long to add him. We knew Washington wasn’t playing week 1 and TY was sitting on the couch.

I get what you're saying but Gallup is the least of our concerns right now. The defense was bad, the coaches were worse, Dak continues to have brain farts at the worst possible times, and the offensive line is suddenly a hot mess.

The Cowboys are still 10-4 and making the playoffs, but at this point we can all agree they look like a one-and-done operation. AGAIN.

Ill take those 34 point brain farts and game winning drives.

Some one posted Noah Brown lost this game and you didnt;' say ship.
Lol you are so sensitive about OSU players man. Brown played great but that was huge drop hit him right in the hands. He made some damn good catches this year but hes also had huge drops in his career yesterday was one of them. BTW i see OSU had like the number 1 QB decomitt today but i didnt see where he was going

Kellen Moore didn't have him in the game plan. 2 Targets all game. You would have thought Jax had All-Pro corners out there.

They mentioned this on First Take today. Is it trust or maybe he couldn't get open? He did lose a few steps since injury. His speed is where his value is at.

So they question Gallup's play, but mildly hit on Kellen Moore's plays or game plan. And even Dak is garnering heat while very little is on Kellen Moore. Not surprising as this will not hinder HC interviews but he's not going anywhere because there is probably a wink-eye deal to be the next Dallas HC.

I love the dude, but with depth coming in and he's been a practical no show since he came back from injury. His highlight today is a block.
Your thoughts are appreciated, but please initiate a less "heart attack" style title.

Gallup wasn't get much separation last season before his injury, not sure why Jerry thought he was going to be productive this year with Amari and Cedrick gone.

You guys are freaking, we get a T.Y. Hilton infusion into the receiving core soon.
Maybe Robert Prince needs to be looked at.
Maybe a better WRs coach needs to be considered.

1. Takes most players a full year to recover from a torn ACL. Gallup had surgery in February of this year, two months less than a year.
2. This last game he had TWO targets. What does anyone expect him to do with two targets? Two tds? 50 yards receiving?

Far, far too early to be "done"...

Me too. Remember I typed that right after the loss yesterday so I was a little heated. Looking back yesterday's game had a lot of correctable errors.

mr Cydios----Gallup is not 100% because it takes 2 years to fully recover from ACL.....but he is good enough to be a 3 easily

He did make a nice block on Lamb's big gainer.

He is not even 1 year removed from the ACL. *** were people expecting from him this season??

He is not the problem. It is the idiots who re-signed him while rehabbing a very serious injury and traded away their #1 WR for absolutely nothing.

Yeah, what was the front office thinking?
