will go find his private and personal email and start getting in his ear lol however isn't when a player cut from a team they have to go through waivers and teams with worse records could pick him up first? i'm not a true expert on how that works but i'm pretty sure that's how it works. there no guarantee he would get to choose the boyz.
Did you read the 2nd line of my post?
And I was half joking. I know it will not happen.

Let’s slow down. He had 2 freaking catches. He is perplexing, he’ll make the most amazing catch along the sideline and somehow get 2 toes inbounds while falling. Then he’ll miss 3 balls that hit him right in the hands.

and yet two teams have lost to the giants and the bills only beat them 14 - 9.. i just want to make sure you and other zoners understand that other teams play the giants, and beating A team 89 -17 and two games it's not normal for a league of built in parity. i know a win is a win but if we only wion 14-9, what would be the narrative right now. dont answer i know what it will be like the Houston game last year or the complaints in the colts win that we scored all our blowout point in garbage time but the other 3 qtrs were blasted., see how this works with this fan base... this fanbase doesn't like Just wins agianst lower end teams bit also dont like fanbase bragging about 89-17-point differentials LMAO.. Noone is ever happy,,ughh:facepalm: you know ike beating tb12 and the bucs on the road in payoff game in the same manner nope it doesnt count lmao

it's it's the same thing with new England and the jets, our wins were complete blowouts. yet other teams have struggled or lost to those teams..hey but Cowboys fans shouldn't be happy we beat them so bad it was NOT even competitive in Parity league... those types of lopsided wins aren't supposed to happen much but 4 in one season so far..
??
Pretty generic comment that we should play well against bad teams at the very least. What is exciting about beating a 2-7 team on their 3rd string qb? I’d be far more concerned if we played poorly

First of all, this wasn’t Michael Gallup‘s only good game of the year. I believe he had like two or three games in a row either to start the year or was it right after the by? Yes, it was followed up by a couple bad games, but he wasn’t the only one dropping footballs so is our tight ends and others so let’s give him a little break here. This was not his only good game of the year. I’d have to go back and look at the stats but they were at least two games I remember where he look like the old Gallup.

so slowly, but surely, I think the vision mike McCarthy had for this office is starting to Bear fruit I believe he truly thought we were gonna have a championship style stingy defense held all teams under 17 points and it didn’t happen so he had to switch from ultra conservative to basically I don’t see much difference between this offense and Kellen Moore is on offense now, the last four weeks. If you need any proof of that, did you not see that play was it? I believe it was cooks and lamb that ran in each other they literally almost ran the mirror routes right into the same zone. One of them got the route wrong, but that’s the kind of stuff that was happening last year. Too many routes run too close together they were bringing their defender right into where he can break off his man and double it was causing problems and I saw it happen against the Giants. I can’t remember the play, but it looked really familiar.

I was going to say the same thing. In weeks 3 and 4 he had 11 catches out of 13 targets, leading the team in receiving yards in week 3 (92 yards). I was thinking he was returning to pre-injury form then, and there was a thread or two on this board mentioning this. However, the SF game happened, and we saw a reversal of progress. Hopefully the skid has stopped, and with the 2 big grabs on Sunday, we will see him progress back to pre 2021 Gallup. Its been frustrating, but I am rooting for him.

What did you miss my lol?? I just making sure that even if it was a possibility it'll be a ridiculous long shot.. I wouldn't put it past Ezekiel Elliott to go and ask New England to let him go and that he'll waive all his money then try to get back with the Cowboys with a little side behind the door deal with Jerry Jones but I believe he has to go through waivers but I'm not sure....

of course we should beat them but beating them silly and being happy about it now we have to apologize? No one's bragging about it we're saying that we are beating them in a different way than other teams have beat that same team I mean Josh Allen and the bills team 14 to 9 Washington lost to that team I don't know who else somebody else lost to walk to the giants so they're an fl team/... If the Cowboys are held to the standard that we should beat all the bad teams we need to go and talk about how the chiefs lost one to The Jets how the bills lost to The Jets and New England and Denver????? Happens all around the league I mean we lost Arizona it shouldn't happen at least we had a good excuse I mean missing 3 Pro Bowl offensive lineman no Trayvon diggs on the road we just weren't prepared to get that kind of energy from that team..

What they act like it's normal to literally destroy a team like we have those three or four teams that were sub 500 we'd literally embarrass them other teams struggled and or lost to those teams; NE, jets, giants, and now teams losing to Denver..shoulda lol sure but straight beat down in league of parity in 4 games against those teams and those four games the point differentials were insane it's not normal to do that on a regular basis and we've done it four times this year they're supposed to be competition in a league of parity.. Nonsense not concerned this fan base if we would have only won by ten would have been blasting everybody and talking about how we need to get rid of the quarterback and Mike McCarthy's on the hot seat it would have it would have rained into that nonsense but when we beat them so bad and try to be happy about it we're being cold to tap the brakes no you play each game that's in front of you and if you wanna be happy that you made a team look like a high school team then you should be able to be happy about it without fans trying to remind you of the cautionary tale....

And just to bring in the Eagles game Prescott played the same way pretty much against the Eagles as he did against the giants the team didn't but he did... They lost that game on some weird bounces and some oddities and some penalties but we still played a team with the best record in the league on their turf and should have won that game but Prescott played the same way in about four straight games now... That's encouraging after the 49ers game how he was embarrassed he said the team played bad and he wasn't gonna allow that to happen and he started running more he started doing more the problem is we need the team to show up and play better against those teams but I'm not concerned until the playoffs it's bound to happen everyone's expecting the same story to end the same way but I believe one day it's just gonna all come together no matter what the regular season look like we're gonna get our run in the playoffs...

In my opinion we're way past due so we are due.... This team has been building momentum since 2020 so I have a good feeling about this playoff run if we can make it there and have most of our good players still standing...

We are past due by about 20 years but I no longer buy into the hype. Every year is the same until it’s proven otherwise.

Yeah I was just trying to remind folks this wasn't the first time this year that he started to improve and get back to his regular form. sure lots of players have little game here there with drops didn't remember was it last year against the giants that huge easy caths that would have been like a 60-yard catch and score for lamb was it from Cooper rush I can't remember but after that he got better but he's had bad games before as well....

This. This has been his MO since day 1. Noah Brown is a better WR. He just needed targets. Look at him in Houston, kid is in beast mode.

No we're not teams have taken longer Kansas City Chiefs 51 years between Super Bowl wins there are teams out there that never even won a Super Bowl but there are teams with longer droughts like Washington and Buffalo and it still the Philadelphia Eagles have won 1 championship in 60 years... Maybe the New England Patriots dynasty somehow skewed the way fans really expect us to go back to Super Bowls as if all other teams just get back there on a regular basis if the chiefs fans could wait 51 years we can wait 30 I mean **** **** I mean I don't think you get it championships they don't come easy I mean it took the Texas Rangers from 1970 that was 52 years to get one ring we're waiting on number six you get that they have credit it isn't hype every year if you have a shot and you're a contender that's just part of the process it doesn't always work out there's so many I mean even the 49ers and I realized they've been to some Super Bowls they've been really close they've been to some championship games but let me tell you it's been one year longer for them to have won a Super Bowl and since winning is supposed to be the goal not getting there they have not either it's not that easy...

If it were that easy guys like Brett farve and Drew Brees and some other really great tell it like Dan Marino they would have far more Super Bowls I mean the first two I just mentioned plate 19 years they only got one Super Bowl in 19 years... So you can have your own expectations but I think it's ridiculous that your expectations seem to be that we're 20 years past due as it's supposed to happen all the time and it doesn't almost all teams have to go through these droughts in all sports and let me also remind you we have three other pro sports teams in the DFW area that now only have three championships total in their entire existence between all three I mean give me a break it doesn't happen that often..

And yes I understand I want one really bad as well I mean at least get us to the NFC championship game this year however again the expectations of this fanbase is ridiculous don't say that's what we got used to when our own other dynasty from the 70s only won two Super Bowls and Jerry has 3 in the same basic time frame about 33 years... So for Tom Landry and all those great teams he put together they can only manage two Super Bowls in 30 years we're talking about winds here because they won plenty of regular season games and got to the playoffs but they fell short many times....

He has some toe drag swag about three or four weeks ago right across the sideline same way and he actually left up pretty high and Moss that guy last week you know most I mean you see how high he jumped over that dude??? first of all his back is different than what you would think of #1 but michael gallup has always been streaky ,he's slightly better than maybe Terrance wiiliams but hes typically #2/3 type player.. they are not going to get enough targets for one to get high production and lastly this is just who they are, its why they arent seen as a 1...true eite wrs you count on make 20-30mil aav now Gallups making 11 ...

gallup is more body catcher than with his hands, thus the drops, specially on the balls that hit him square in his chest. he will make a lot of side line and deep catches, because he cradles it into his body

Man, I give it up for Gallup. He's one of our most level-headed players. You can't have three big, fat egos at WR, because there's only one ball. So, Gallup was always sort of the number 3, and Cooks the established number 2 in the pecking order. It's just that Gallup was outperforming Cooks early on, which hopefully sparks the competitive spirit in Gallup now that Cooks shot up the stat board with his 171-yard game. It's important to get them all involved. That's why I didn't dwell on the drops from Gallup very long: it was important to target him to make them account for him. That way, it opens up the other players.

That's what I like about our WR crew. If they aren't getting open; you can kind of force it to all of them.

Being able to get open is the one of the most important aspects for receivers. Gallup has always been bad at that and one of the worst since his injury and the main reason why he's so 50/50 on his targets.

I'm not seeing that. His plodding 1+ ypc last year and $18M contract had to go.

Tony Pollard and Rico Dowdle are fine. And they haven't even started incorporating the rooks yet.
I'm with ya big dog, I don't miss "His plodding 1+ ypc last year", not to mention the $18M contract.

One great catch against the Giants and he's back to his old self? Let me see him do that every week, or at least against one good team. It's progress, but only Jerry thinks we're back on track for real.
yeh gotta see far more from Gally than just vs a vey porous Giants secondary ...more week to week basis.
