Did Dallas, and perhaps more importantly Dak miss Gallup today?

I like Devin Smith, but it seems when the going gets tough, Gallup finds separation and moves the chains.

Yes, I have a pet cat in this race. But it appeared the offensive did not find the weaknesses of the other team's defense as easily.

Yet I think they took the Dolphins lightly. Yes I know there were injuries. And a big YES, they came out ans completely shut down the Dolphins, except for stupid penalties, in the second half.

I am just wondering how much Gallup positively effects both the offense and Dak in particular.

Good win, nice lead in the East.

The Saints better be ready after this poor performance.

Yes, Gallup and Dak have chemistry. They’ve been working together for two seasons.

Devin Smith is still building chemistry with Dak. I mean he had little to no chance making the squad. So his reps likely were with Rush and White.

We will be fine when Gallup comes back

I agree, it seemed that way to me, especially early on. But for whatever reason, Dak and the offense figured out what was going wrong and looked like a different team that second half.

When we’ve both Cooper and Gallup, I feel it’s like having two number one WR’s out there.
We definitely missed him, there were good passes by Dak that were dropped that Gallup probably wouldn’t have dropped.
Sooner he’s back the better.

Dak didn't throw as many passes today. So he didn't get much of a chance to spread the ball around. We miss Gallup but having two homerun hitters at RB cushions the blow.

It's nice to know that we can dominate through the air or on the ground. We are going to need those traits in the playoffs.

Yes, Gallup is better.

I saw a wasted deep pass to Devin and he had a underneath guy wide open. And he made a great play and first down. That it. Gallup gets a lot more passes.

Just Dak regressing back to last’s seasons usual form. Overthrows, poor decision making, back to throwing into triple coverage.,,,,,,,,or perhaps its all Gallup’s fault

Amari has played well but has 5 or 6 drops so far, I don't think Gallup has any. Not only does he seem to be Dak's favorite target - but he opens the offense up because people can play their natural positions and the defense can't cheat.

After two games, there were 40 players who were targeted at least 15 times.

Out of those 40, Gallup ranked:
Yards 226 (4th)
Yards per target 15.07 (1st)
Catch rate 86.7% (2nd)
Yards per catch 17.38 (5th)

Against a tougher opponent, he'd have been missed a lot more.

Gallup is a legit weapon, so yes he'll be missed. Fortunately, now Dak n Devin can build some chemistry...that makes the WR group all the more dangerous when #13 returns.

I agree, I wonder how soon before teams roll coverage to Gallup instead of Coop.

We will need Gallup against the Saints. For scoring and to help with 1st downs for ball control. Because the way Kamara is slicing through the Seattle defense, I wonder if our defense can stop him.

However, our D has been giving up yards and big plays. They have not been giving up points.
44 points in 3 games. and 17 have been garbage time points, and another 7 close to garbage time.
