It was a bad call… it hit the ground and moved out of his hand. Its pretty clear

That’s your opinion and I disagree. If it was clear the call on the field would have been overturned when it was reviewed.

Even The Great Blind-ino agreed it was a no catch.

Exactly, so that's why I was more upset at the no TD on Gallup. The first one wasn't a catch, but, if they're calling that a catch even after replay, then Gallup should have been credited with a TD too.

You saw him bobble the ball before he hit the ground? Riiiiight. He snagged with one hand, brought it to the second and then tucked it. He had possession all the way to the ground before he rolled over and the ball touched. But 4 steps before then. You wanna say 3? Okay. Still a catch.
You are so tiresome. It shouldn’t have been a catch and if it was Noah Brown you would be on here saying it was incomplete.

I saw the ball hit the ground and leave his hand…. Just like everyone else

The worst call was the 35 yard completion in the first half that was a clear incomplete pass for the Texans. Under every single rule in the book that was a clear drop. The fact it was reviewed and still called a catch was just pure comedy gold.

Yeah definitely!

I thought Gallup hit the ground with his back ball still in hand when it comes out AFTER He hit the turf . Why no catch , he seemed to control it as he goes down . Is the NFL right on this one . I thought not .

no control. Then it popped out. Have to go to the ground with the ball.

The ball moving shouldn't have even come into play. I mentioned this in the game thread as it was going on and called it a catch early because of the video below. @phildadon86, back me up, bro. Lol. From the rules above, he satisfies the requirements for a catch which TODAY, you can do on the way down to the ground. In Dez' day you couldn't, so back then, the steps you took in going to the ground did not matter. You could take 6 steps and it wouldn't matter if you didn't survive the ground. When they rolled out the new rule, they showed Dez' catch and say it was a catch by today's rules at the point he took his 3rd step (LINK). Moore took 4 by my count:

RULE 8 FORWARD PASS, BACKWARD PASS, FUMBLE
SECTION 1

ARTICLE 3. COMPLETED OR INTERCEPTED PASS. A player who makes a catch may advance the ball. A forward pass is
complete (by the offense) or intercepted (by the defense) in the field of play, at the sideline, or in the end zone if a player, who is
inbounds:
(a) secures control of the ball in his hands or arms prior to the ball touching the ground; and
(b) touches the ground inbounds with both feet or with any part of his body other than his hands; and
(c) after (a) and (b) have been fulfilled, performs any act common to the game (e.g., tuck the ball away, extend it forward,
take
an additional step
, turn upfield, or avoid or ward off an opponent), or he maintains control of the ball long enough to do so.

Except, the question is, did the ball survive the ground as I understand it. That was where even Blandino seemed to think it should have been incomplete. The ball did not appear to survive the ground.

Less whine, more facts. You saw him bobble the ball? Here's an unstopped GIF just for you. You see a bobble here before the ground?

The ball did not survive the ground, no. My point is he took 4 steps on the way down to the ground. That is enough for a catch today and then the ball coming loose doesn't matter just like the new league rules guy said about Dez' catch from way back when and that today it would be a catch even though Dez lost the ball after it hit the ground.

On that play i thought the Texan had his hand under the ball not enough evidence to overturn

He kept control of the ball as his back hit the ground and while he bounced back up until he hit the floor again.

Moore caught the ball. One knee equals two feet, then the ball wobbled and touched the ground after his catch. Gallup caught the ball, one shoulder equals two feet, especially in the endzone. The process of the catch is not a thing, it defies what football fans have known all along possession prior to contacting the ground is a CATCH. Former comedians like Blandino are not qualified to write ambiguous rules that confuse the issue. Ceedee did not catch that endzone pass last week, his heel was out of bounds, despite his toe touching first. Had he dragged the toe, it would have counted. Mike McCarthy knows what a catch is but challenges legitimate catches, because he hopes the refs are going to overstep their bounds and take away catches. No respect for that kind of thing, despite him being the current coach of the Cowboys.

One of many drops by the offense.
