The bad:

We have no backup QB, season is over if Romo gets seriously hurt.

Amendola is overrated, might have cost himself a shot at 53 tonight.

Pacman looked lost out there, probably dropped to #4 CB tonight.

Bennett starting to look like a bust, seems to not be interested in the game.

Other than the QB thing, I think the rest can be classified as "knee jerk".

Just who overrated Amendola?

And I'm betting he's not the first rookie to fumble-- I may not even have to check the stats for that one.

Yeah, the first game A Jones has played in what 2 years? And you've sold the guy.

Bennett? I'm impressed with your keen ability to tell who's interested in the game and who isn't.

It's just 1 preseason game, the first day on the job.Give them untill the 3rd preseason game to get the jitters out.Now for Brad, you new he would do what he did before he took a snap. They better find a qb quick.Don't no if Roma will get it done. The jury is still out on him.I think he's overrated.

:lmao:

I don't get the hate on Amendola.

He fumbled, yup, it happens. He didn't really get a shot at WR..

He average around 10 yard per punt return and caught all of them.

I think he will play more next game.

Overated....geez. He needs to be rated first..

Wow, you actually think the jury is still out on Romo?:laugh2:

Hard to take anything else you posted seriously after that statement.:lmao:

And where exactly is Dallas "going to find a QB quick" that is going to beat out a back-to-back probowler?

Bennett? I'm impressed with your keen ability to tell who's interested in the game and who isn't.

I call it like I see it, I dont sugar coat and pretend everything is OK. I will address your concerns.

1. Who overrated Amendola? How about the media and the fans. All I have read is that this guy is suppossed to be the next Wes Welker and was ripping it up in camp. This was rumored to be the guy Romo was talking about in his interview. The "perception" was that this guy is a stallion.

Problem is he didnt look like a stallion, in fact he looked like a rookie. So I will save you some time so you dont have to look it up, he is not the first rookie to fumble. However, his play did not match the hype he has been receiving from fans and media, normally that is called being overrated.

2. Pacman? You are 100% correct that he has not played in almost 2 years and it showed. Pacman himself said that his timing was all off last night. So I dont understand your opposition to the statement that he looked lost, when he actually did. If you are out of postion, taking bad angles, getting PI calls, ect....then I would say you looked lost out there.

Now until the rust comes off, he is not going to be ahead of players who dont have rust, thus the statement that he dropped to #4 after last night is pretty accurate. Lets see, Newman, Henery, Jenkins/Scandrick, Pac. That is why I said he "probably dropped to #4", unless you still have Pac ahead of Scandrick/Jenkins, and you would probably be the only one.

3. Bennett? I dont have any special abilities, only have a TV. It looked pretty obvious that he is just not that fired up to play. Drops easy passes, makes very litte effort to block guys, ect....There have also been reports in camp of his attitude as well, doesnt really pay attention, doesnt run correct routes, doesnt knows the plays, ect...

So no I dont have special abilities, I just notice what alot of posters and media guys have noticed as well. Like I said, I call it like I see it and I dont sugar coat.

OK, so two meaningless entities over-rated Amendola. Granted the kid shouldn't have fumbled but I don't think he's going to get cut tomorrow because of it.

I still have confidence in Adam Jones and if Henry or Newman become injured this season, I'm betting it's Adam Jones that takes their spot in the starting lineup.

So Bennett is completely worthless in your view-- gotcha.

I never said Amendola should get cut tommorow, I said that he did not play up to the "perception" that was created in the media and among fans. They may be meaningless entities to you, but that is how most of us fans get our info. I have not been to training camp, so I have no idea how players look. I have to rely on media reports and fan forums to get info. If the media and fans say this guy is a stud, how are us fans that are 1000 miles away from camp to know any difference?

All I said is that his play in the game did not match the media/fan reports.

I still think Pac can turn out to be a good player for us, he is just very rusty right now and until the rust comes off, he is going to be on the bottom of the dept chart. I think this statement is pretty accurate.

I also didnt say Bennett is worthless, I said that he doesnt seem very into football right now (dropping easy passes, not making much effort to block, not knowing plays in practice, ect..) and media reports have basically said the same thing.

However, I am not ready to cut him yet. I think if he turns his attitude around, starts payin attention in practice, learns the plays, gives 100% effort on catching and blocking, ect.....there is still a chance he can turn into a good player. Right now he is starting to look like a bust, but he can still turn it around if he chooses to.

I still dont understand what exacty your opposition is to any of these statements???

How about a group Lame Ball for the defensive backups, in particular DLine and LBs? Hester had 3?

I would love for these guys to prove me wrong, because that means they are making plays and helping the team win. And that is what is ultimately important here.
