Who woulda thunk it, they CAN win a game without Dak. And all I ever hear around this place is 'no Dak = automatic loss'.

My thoughts? I hope you don't really believe that comment. There are 52 other players on the roster. The team is called the Dallas Cowboys, not the Dakkis Dakboys. Its a team, not just one individual.

Rush played well enough to barely win, which I give him credit for, but don't make it seem like he roasted the Vikings. The defense stepped up big time in this game. Let's not forget that probably a quarter of Rush's yards came off one 15 or 20 yard throw that went for what, 70 yards? I'm not putting him down, he did his job admirably. That was the best backup performance I can remember since...Dak.

Rush did roast their defense for 325 yards. It’s the 2nd highest passing yards against them in 8 games. Even Russell Wilson couldn’t put up 300 on their defense. Only Kyler Murray put up more yards.

I'm not belittling his efforts, many props to him, but there were balls that should've been picked, including the one Coop magically caught off the defense's chest. 75 yards came on the 15 or 20 yard throw to Wilson. He did make some beautiful throws, but also some really bad ones. Sorry, but the stats don't reflect his play.

I really had expected a thread like this. Probably a few more before the weeks up. My only question was going to be which one of the local Dak deniers would reply first when it was started. Not shocked with USarmyvet being first in line but Im shocked we havent seen an appearance from Khalidi and captaincrash yet but we got time.

while I am not sure what the OP intent was I do know those who responded and their intent. It just kills some of you that the fan base has embraced dak and it kills you that the team has embraced dak as their leader and while i dont believe dak made the type of statement the OP referred to I can guarantee you he was a huge cheerleader for the entire team.

you want to give Cooper Rush a game ball Im all for it but if you watched the game he was efficient but nothing special and at times looked horrid. 2 throws that stand out to me were the TD throws other than than that he was just Ok. The cooper catch on the last drive was all Amari it hit the defender in the bread basket basically and bounced up to Coop otherwise we are having this conversation as a 5-2 team. If the cowboys are confident in that dude taking us anywhere should dak miss significant time then the coaching staff is dumber than i thought.

The defense and Dan Quinn gets my game ball.

It really shows that a very average Qb can be successful with this massive talent around them. You can pay one 40 Million and the other 1 million. That’s why I was against paying that bloated contract

For the most important position on the team I would have preferred 33 mil for a starter and 7mil for a Quality backup that could get through a couple playoff games. We have all the eggs in one basket and I hate not having the depth at this position but it’s water under the bridge

Your post is even more ignorant. Most individuals know that these are paid pros, and with the right game plan, anything is possible. But you and others are complete idiots for your takes on Dak and this team.

LOL How in the world did this become a "bash Dak" thread? Anyone more advanced than a single-celled organism could see that were weren't nearly as good with Dak having to miss the game. And that's not taking away anything from Rush getting out there and competing. Rush should absolutely get a game ball.

I'd think I'd give my game ball to McCarthy. With Garrett as HC and the kind of adversity we had tonight...we lose.

Edited to add: I'd give a game ball to Copper Rush's dad. Loved seeing him watch his boy win the game.

33 million gets you Kirk Cousins.
