Hey khiladi….This wasn’t even Andy Dalton behind this OL…
the same Andy Dalton who threw for over 300 yards against the Vikings last year with Smith, Collins or Martin…
This was Cooper Rush…
Pay attention to context The guy I responded to said the team was something like 6-8 in this game on 3rd downs, and I provided the actual number. It has nothing to do with the Carolina game or any other game..3 of 9 for 3rd downs against the Panthers.....with Dak at QB.....so your point is??????
Ahahahahaahahahahaha!!My favorite part was when even Collinsworth said on the second one of Rush’s INTs that it was clear cover 2 zone and he should of checked into a run play..
Don’t worry Chris.. I’m sure if they give Rush about a year instead of six years of game time, he can figure it out eventually..
This is an odd statement since Rush only had one INT …My favorite part was when even Collinsworth said on the second one of Rush’s INTs that it was clear cover 2 zone and he should of checked into a run play..

@CowboysWillRiseThis offense is not predicated on our skill players, outside our RBs. This offense is because of this OL and RG period, which causes all the man looks the QB sees while our OL and RG has very little problems addressing the rush up front.
You can get as aggressive as you want defensively against this OL generally and you’ll end up wearing yourself out, not the OL.
He meant to say Dak threw that extra int. This is an odd statement since Rush only had one INT …

You're right, I skimmed over the part about the first quarter and a half. My mistakeNo, I wait it was ABOUT 6-8 for the like the FIRST QUARTER AND A HALF.. my point was simply Dallas had ZERO problems converting the ball during that time with an average QB in his first start, controlling TOP and moving the chains. That in itself wears down a defense.
If anything, this conversion stat is more of a telling indicator of the talent level on this offense outside the QB position.
This is where the real struggles are for back up QBs.
Micah mentioned something along those lines in his presser."I SERIOUSLY THINK Dak went to the defense and said to them, I NEED YOUR HELP, and they came through!!! Your thoughts"
You serious, Clark?

Damn…My bad, should say WITHOUT.... Got to love all the QB comparison stats 'without Dak' stats since 2019, while ignoring the fact all these QB stats when Dak hasn't played are without Smith, Martin and Collins in the line-up and a turn-stile at OL. That is as unfair and as bogus a comparison there can be, to prop up Dak who has been mediocre unless he's surrounded by premiere talent. It has been clear since 2016 that the engine that drives this offense is the OL and RG, especially as far as generating the looks an OC wants.
And now when you have a basis to make some valid comparison as far as OL and RG is concerned, what does Cooper do..... Throws to Amari pretty much all day against man coverage to move the chains and find him in the end-zone to win the game in his FIRST START. Amari in particular has little trouble exploiting man coverage against any DB. All he needs is a decent QB to get him the ball. 8 for 13 for 122 yards on over 15 YPC and a TD...
Hell, even the look Dak got to Lamb to win the game in NE, Lamb was calling for it from the get-go, because of how wide open he was. The Pats basically covered the flat, the go to route that Moore has been using a lot, and he also had Lamb running the drag route. It was the same play they had wide open per Romo. Any QB worth a grain of salt could drop that wide-open look to Lamb, who basically had his hand raised to the QB announcing how open he was, while running across the middle in one on one coverage like 5 feet ahead of the DB...
"Zach's our BEST PLAYER on offense. Most runs, they're coming back behind him."
My favorite part about it all, is even Zeke recognizes that Zach Martin is the BEST PLAYER on the offense, something I said last year when Dallas sat him for the rest of the season.
Smith's pass blocking is first among tackles and Martin's run blocking is first among guards. You know the two guys that were out when Dalton was playing....
