If you are using Internet Explorer, when you go to the chat page, and it you get whatever error mesage (or it does nothing), hold down CTRL and click the Refresh button to force a non-cache reload on the page. You have to hold CTRL to do this!

If you are using FireFox, do the same thing but instead of CTRL, hold down SHIFT and click Reload.

i also find that if you have another window with something that requires java it wont load, that something could be nfl.com's score boards
