Just finished having omelets for breakfast. Going to nuke some velveta & Rotel dip for the chips during the game.
My niece is staying with us & says she's got a killer chicken fried steak recipe she's going to fix for dinner.

The older I get, the more I realize how closely aligned my father and I are on a whole range of interest and topics.

The one major exception is a steak. He prefers his medium well while I am more rare to medium rare. I attribute most of our disagreements in life on how a steak is cooked.

Homemade chicken fajitas…although I realized I mis-measured some of the spices adding a few too much and don’t have enough spices left to remake. So, I tried to scoop out some over amounts. Very precise The spices went into a citrus marinade of freshly squeezed orange juice and lime juice. Should be interesting on how it turns out. Lol
