Lol! There are a lot of things to do in Amsterdam to pass the time... Be careful!!

No doubt lol! But it’s miserable here. Sub 40, windy and raining. I’ll have to stick to food, drinks, ???, and this site to keep the time moving. This might be the first playoff game I completely miss and not know who won until it’s well over.

I fired up the smoker. It’s only 21 degrees outside but what the heck
We got a 10 lb pork butt, 3 slabs of ribs, brats, spicy Italian, and kielbasa for the meats
The wife has some Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes and carrot cake
I also have blue moon, crown and mesquite flavored crown and some makers mark to boot and today’s victory shot will be Patron

It’s going to be a long fun filled smoking day. Hope I survive
I Havent had guests come over for the game in a while should be fun

Going simple, salad. When I say salad.....it has no veggies and lots of meat! It is only butter lettuce, bacon, ham cubes, mandarin oranges, dried pineapple pieces, candied walnuts, eggs, apples, peach pieces, gorgonzola cheese, croutons and homemade grapefruit balsamic dressing

Peppercorn crusted filet mignon pan seared, then roasted, served over a reduced demi sauce (takes three days to reduce) chambord reduction, over whipped roasted garlic mashed potatoes. And a few cold beers here and there. Many cold beers after if the Cowboys win!

It's about 20 F outside with two feet of snow covering everything (except the driveway... Already cleared that).

I feel like like that Geico hump day camel, "know what day it is?" It's 2 alarm chili day!

finally making a big pot of steak chili. making a couple of apps - bacon onion rings and fresh pico de gallo for chips and salsa.

I usually don't eat till after the game, going to try to go that route today but the game won't be over till 11pm-ish ET so i might have a very light snack in a few hours from now. After the game i will feast, not sure i will want to cook so i might order from a local pizzeria.
