In case you want to relive that Dallas Cowboys domination of the Packers earlier this year, here's the game film I made at the time:

The Green Bay offense started playing better since this game, but that's OK since our defense is playing much better too.

Rodgers didn't play like crap all season. He just wasn't his normal self which is an MVP type QB.

What's it going to be then, eh?

Hate to say it, but that is accurate. Different Rodgers now and he has Cook and a healthier Cobb as well. Have to hope that Nelson is out and Montgomery very limited.

Rodgers was unquestionably mediocre for roughly a 16 game stretch basically starting last year when the Packers got blown out by Denver all the way through mid-season this year.

Here is one of the many graphics that were being shown during this stretch that highlighted his suckiness:

Lots of speculation that his personal issues (ie family issues) had a lot to do with it.

For whatever reason, he turned it around.

He has obviously turned it around. I just hate to say he was bad. He just wasn't himself. The Packers live and die on Rodgers being Superman. So I think we really are not disagreeing on anything really. I just don't like to say Rodgers was bad.

His 15 game or so stretch of relative mediocrity happened within the context of throwing 71 TDs vs 15 interceptions over the past 2 seasons so I agree that you couldn't classify Rodgers as 'bad' over that time period -- I'd categorize it more as a funk.

He was 31-42 almost 300 yards how is that playing like crap?

Irving forced fumbles just like he's suppose to. This notion that they played a crappy A-Rod is tiring. This defense balled out and forced 4 TOs

Exactly. Everyone panicking needs to remember it's the Packers that have to prove they can win. The game will be in Dallas and homefield was 4-0 this week.

Like it or not he was bad. He was pretty awful against us in week 4 also. Missed on more than a couple wide open looks. The prior graphic, I believe could have been extended out much further. But the fact remains hes turned it around.

Alot of Rodgers yards that game were garbage time padding of stats and dump off to Ty Montogomery.

He is playing much better. But Dallas will win. He will have his great playing butt on the sidelines for 40 minutes Sunday.

Number 36 was abused in that game but is getting all types of praises for his job on Odell and Packer fans are talking him up as well now.

and Rodgers played like crap in the 1st half yesterday.. it's not like that offense has been a well-oiled machine from quarter to quarter, game to game for 12 weeks straight. they have periods of anemia

we'll need to take advantage every time it sputters

I believe we were w/o Bryant this game, which shouldn't be overlooked. And to boot, the chemistry between Dak and Dez over the past few games is promising and will bring a new dynamic that wasn't there during the 1st meeting.

Dez did not play. His availability will be a huge factor in our offensive scheme this time. If the Packers choose to load the box to stop Zeke, expect Dez to have a big game.
