I think the main concern is Capers and his creative zone blitzes. The run game is going to be essential, because teams, contrary to popular belief, have been blitzing Dallas as desparation moves.

If GB gets out early, then expect Capers to start disguising blitzes.

shoot, may as well forfeit the game and let GB and Atlanta play for the NFC Championship this weekend.

Like it or not he was bad. He was pretty awful against us in week 4 also. Missed on more than a couple wide open looks. The prior graphic, I believe could have been extended out much further. But the fact remains hes turned it around.

Alot of Rodgers yards that game were garbage time padding of stats and dump off to Ty Montogomery.
I guess it comes down to your opinion of Bad. When I think of bad I think of Quincy Carter, Ryan Leaf, Chad Hutchinson. I think Rodgers was avg during his funk. I wouldn't call him bad in any way

Dez did not play. His availability will be a huge factor in our offensive scheme this time. If the Packers choose to load the box to stop Zeke, expect Dez to have a big game.
I would say that Dez will be a HUGE part of the Cowboy's success this weekend...if there is to be success. If the Dallas running game picks up where it left off in the first meeting (191 yards on 33 rushes) it will force them to commit to stopping the run, thereby forcing some one-on-one match-ups...match-ups Bryant, Beasley, Williams, Witten and Butler must take advantage of, with high catch rates and good RAC. I don't see where GB won't struggle with what to do about the Dallas run game. They definitely won't be able to sit in nickel or dime and get gashed repeatedly (for 5.8 ypc)...something they could afford to do against rush-less New York.

The Dallas o-line and Bryant versus the GBay front seven and secondary. Win those two battles, and you go a long way toward winning the war. Where Beckham failed, Bryant must succeed.

Rodgers QB rating in the first game was 90.8, so not quite the stinker many are claiming it was. 4 turnovers is what really doomed them...that and the inability to stop Dallas from rolling up damn close to 200 yds on the ground. If you can't stop the run...you can't stop anything...

I don't know if enough is being made of the fact that this was Irving's breakout game. Confidence has to be a key issue for him at the moment, and he knows he's facing an opponent he's already dominated. Given the way he finished the season against Tampa Bay and Detroit, it would be huge if he shows up big Sunday.

Yeah, and I don't know that we can count on those turnovers coming again. I'd anticipate Rodgers doesn't fumble near the goal line and throw an easy pick to our DB based on how he's playing right now.

Still, like you said, this game needs to follow the 90s template for us to be successful. Efficient, accurate passing combined with a running attack that can't be stopped.

He was 31-42 almost 300 yards how is that playing like crap?

Irving forced fumbles just like he's suppose to. This notion that they played a crappy A-Rod is tiring. This defense balled out and forced 4 TOs

GB started the season 3-1 also when we played them. The TEAM was hardly in a funk.

Dez can be s big part of the success if the Cowboys don't try to force that

Run the ball again and again
Dak needs to take what he gets with short passes not force it downfield to Dez

Irving forced 3 fumbles in 19 total snaps in that game vs GB. He'll get a lot more playing time on Sunday and remember, this defense got 10 turnovers and 13 sacks in the last 4 games it played that mattered. The Eagles game doesn't count because Lee and most of the starters either never played or were pulled early.

We're coming in with MoC back, Durant, Terrell McClain, Tyrone Crawford, DeMarcus Lawrence, and Orlando Scandrick healthier than they've been in weeks.

If they double team Irving that leaves Mayowa 1 on 1.

I think this defense is going to surprise people in the playoffs.

I keep hearing that "Green Bay was in a bad place when they played Dallas in the regular season..bla bla bla"

Really? 3-1 with the 1st ranked rushing defense? **** with that nonsense

The way they (pack fans and mediots) talk about them make it sound as if they were the 1-15 Cleveland Browns or something

In case you want to relive that Dallas Cowboys domination of the Packers earlier this year, here's the game film I made at the time:

The Green Bay offense started playing better since this game, but that's OK since our defense is playing much better too.

Yes. Thank you

Ppl are exaggerating the heck out of the Cowboys win vs green bay.... Rogers WAS playing like crap now he playing like an MVP.
Yeah this is true people, like myself, are exaggerating the earlier win by Dallas. I don't think it's a great idea to exaggerate the win but also we shouldn't minimize the win. We beat them pretty soundly in GB. Dak played good, Zeke played great and in this game their defense will not be as strong. I also think that Rodgers may have played bad because our defense stepped up too. But Rodgers is out of his funk but Dak also has grown a lot as a quarterback since that game.

I feel both teams got better. I said it in another thread but I feel this will be Dak's coming out party, or the beginning of the legend. And if I'm wrong, Zeke will run it down their throats.

Good point. Didn't they only allow 44 yards rushing per game and then Zeke and company came in and dropped a buck fifty on them. And they were coming off of a bye week IIRC and we still took it to them psychically.

That team was full strength, playing 3-1 ball in their own house. They were beat bad, and this is after the refs tried all they could to take it from us.
Another good point

Rodgers was 31-42 for 294 yards against us. We managed to keep him to 7 yrds per attempt which was good.

That is not playing like crap at all.
