I don't have the full answer but seems you have to keep fighting it for like 10 to 15 minutes and then you get a tiny screen that lets you watch beats the devil out of me

If you use the VLC channel the quality is the same as DirectTv stream (its Fox go)

mine was hiccuping a lot today, even revert back a few plays four or five times. But, the quality is there.

Experience helps, pop-up blockers.

If you make it full screen it stops some of the pop-ups or side chat if the page has chat as well
