Im not saying the NFL is rigging games, I do believe refs rig games to make sure lines or over/unders are covered

agree, i think they use a heavy thumb on the scales of fairness like the NBA officials do and have done for decades

Others have careers entirely unrelated to football. They are attorneys -- including referees Ed Hochuli, Ronald Torbert and Clete Blakeman -- as well as insurance agents, high school principals and financial advisers.

To think these guys would rig games is crazy, totally crazy.

I don't know if the games are rigged or not, but you proof of "high character individuals" listed as attorney's gave me a chuckle. I wouldn't list them as one of the more honest group of professions, not by a long shot.

How many years of college does it take to become an attorney? How hard is it to become an NFL official? These are people who are far above what some gamblers want and it should be real obvious.

No way in all this time something like that could remain a secret, and if anyone blew it there goes the NFL. The history of it all, everything....KAPLUNK~~~

Hey I don't have anything against you, and I have no feeling whether cheating is going on.

First off, years in college does not mean intelligence. People confuse the two all the time. Do you know how many attorneys have been disbarred, charged, jailed over the years for misconduct? Look at how many of US politicians are lawyers, kinda makes my point. No one is beyond reproach when it comes to breaking the law.

I don't have my degree in history, but going as far back as Mesopotamia I would put my knowledge against any high school teacher and I wouldn't embarrass myself with college professors. I can tear down a automotive engine and put in back together. My point being, if one has the want to learn, you do not have to go to school to educate yourself.

No need for the anger, it's just people's opinions. I care little what others think on the subject. It's not something that keeps me awake at night.

Do I honestly think the NFL is rigged? No. Do I think the Steelers, Packers, Patriots, and a few others seem to get the calls at critical times? I certainly do. I've seen too many examples over the years.

Others were arguing because It takes evidence and proof and nobody has anything. You don't accuse others of cheating unless you have proof.
