Here are my thoughts:

1) A win is a win. In the parity-ridden NFL, good teams figure out how to win, ugly or pretty

2) The offensive line is really letting us down, especially in the running game. Al ruins about 2 plays a game. Flozell ruins at least one with a penalty. LA is awful in run blocking - he whiffs most of the time. Rivera ruins 1-2 plays by getting beat and/or penalty. Pettiti may be our best run blocker already.

3) The OL is pass protecting really well - it's like night and day for LA here. Pettiti is probably the weakest here.

4) We need JJ - but we need the Oline to run block more. We have very good RB depth - we could lose another guy and feel ok. The 2 rooks look better than Thomas, even though he may have saved the game by not taking the safety. the rooks would have for sure.

5) Losing Crayton will really hurt - the guy just made big plays - seems like every catch he makes is for a first down or TD. Plus, I don't want to risk Newman in punt returns

6) The defense is really shaping up nicely. The depth is the key.

7) The secondary has been outstanding. Obviously, the corners...but anyone who complains about Roy clearly ignores the 3 to 4 game changing tackles he makes and made against the Giants. I was complaining all day that they kept making good yardage on runs. Without Roy, they would have had more first downs and more shots to find a rhythm. He stops people in their tracks so many times, preventing first downs. He's loving the 3-4

8) Bradie James has had a few good games in a row now. I thought for sure we were gonna draft LB next year in the first, but, if he keeps it up (and Shanle), we may just stay pat

9) Keith davis is invisible - didn't everybody say he had a nose for the ball, even Mickaroo? It's rare when him and the ball are on the same screen.

10) Ware is a beast. A sack in the next game and he'll tie the Cowboys all time record for consecutive sacks. Teams are already doubling him, and I've startedto notice us moving him around some already. Hopefully, as he grows more comfortable, we can get him some more free space by confusing defenses.

11) Fujita and Als split snaps more this week -- Fujita was a little less invisible. Als playing time may be disappearing. Oh well...

12) What is wrong with our late-game, lead defense? I am scared to death teams will just start running no-huddle against us all the time

13) Cortez - lucky no. 13. i feel lucky he made it. I feel unlucky every time he steps on the field in crucial situations. He's fine when relaxed. I think the Giants timeout backfired. He had more time to relax instead of just shank it like he did at the end of halftime earlier in the year and in that preseason game. if we could play like we did against the eagles every week, cortez would make 'em all.

14) We may get smoked by Seattle - Alexander looks like the type of RB that could be our Achilles heal (like a good L. Jordan, not the faster backs like Tiki, Portis, LT, Westbrook.) We aren't big enough in the middle to handle someone like him. We can score with 'em, though. The Offense seems to bounce back after bad weeks. Hopefully that trend will continue
