We've seen Romo pull plenty of rabbits out of his had on apparent sack plays too. Sometimes you just have to credit the guy for making an amazing play.

Like someone else said, at least he got there.

If he hits Eli instead of reaching, it is a sack and not a Houdini play.

Bobby Carpenter needs to be released in the off-season.

Carpenter's failed sack attempt and Barber's fumble were big, but we still took the lead after all of that. It was the ridiculous missed tackle TD by that idiot Jacobs right after we had regained the lead that was the back breaker. You can point to other stuff like the punt return for a TD (after an excellent punt by McBriar), but they already had the lead at that point. It was the messed up play with Jacobs that we did not recover from.

Got to say on the screen pass to Boss, I think Carpenter "looked" to get pretty lucky on that one. I don't think he saw it coming, and Boss wasn't too happy with the throw and/or Manning wasn't happy with Boss's route or awareness on that play. Thought we actually dodged a bullet through Giant bad execution on that play, as oppossed to Carpenter making the play. Then again, Carpenter was pretty tight so I give him credit for that.

I taped this game. Will take an effort to watch it, but man we let another slip away.

Spencer killed us. Two offsides penalties and the blown coverage on Jacobs. That was his man. He has to reroute the tight end inside and cover the flats. He was no where to be seen.

You gotta be out of your mind to blame this on Carpenter. How many sacks did Ware get? If he had sacked Eli then they would never have.....

C'mon people. Get rid of you agendas.

Barber's fumble and the PR killed us.

Even though Tony played well, he missed choice and Roy on sure TD's.

With our schedule, we need to win 3 of 4 to make the playoffs. a win is a MUST against SD.

No agenda on my end. Honestly, I have been routing for Carpenter for years. I'm losing hope. I think he plays soft. I get annoyed to see him standing around piles and getting pushed back like he does. He is decent in coverage when manned up it seems, but doesn't make plays consistently. This is my opinion, it is not an agenda. I'm not quite so far into fantasy land to think that anything I put on a Couch-Potato forum is going to influence Jerry, Wade, or Carpenter. Just expressing my disappointment.

I thought that was a KEY play. I thought the Martellus Bennett drop of a pass (this time I'm pretty sure it was 3rd down!) I could catch was a KEY play. OBVIOUSLY Barber's fumble was huge, didn't need to point that one out again as it has been mentioned. I agree Spencer blew the catch and run by Jacobs, but Spencer hustled and almost got him, which for a OLB of his size against a running back (even as big as Jacobs) is pretty good effort. Sometimes having a Spencer in coverage is gonna cost ya.

I thought Carpenter needs to make that sack. That was my point. I said I only saw it once, but that is what it looked like, a real weak, indecisive tackle of a QB by a LB. I thought it changed momentum. I'm not sure the Giants had been in our territory until that play or the one after it, so that is important.

Uh not really.... The Cowboys need to win their division and they can do that beating philthy and failskins.

No agenda for me at all. I also felt like this play changed MOMENTUM, going from a negative play to a long positive one. Kick return hurt the worst, then the Jacobs play, then the barber fumble, but i would put this play as fourth on this list.

Hate to blame one guy, but man that play had me swearing. They didn't replay it so I really need to watch it again, but it looked like a sure sack and the effort and tackle were just so indecisive and weak! Instead Eli makes a decent play (that he just shouldn't have been able to) and flips a pass that gets them 16 yards and a first down and all the confidence and momentum in the world.

The Barber fumble was also atrocious and costly, but I thought we had total domination until that missed opportunity.

I can't remember what down that was, does anybody.

Am I overblowing that one, looked like Eli was gonna take a sack for sure and that Carpenter was dancing with him, with zero intensity. Maybe it just looked bad.

Can't blame Romo on this one. Pass blocking was quite good too. Run blocking, are we going back to way we were, which is not a good thing?

I said the same thing at the time. Barbie should have had a strip sack. Instead he is too weak to bring Eli down and they go on to score a TD. That play keeps sticking in my mind.

Thank goodness a few other people saw what I saw. This was really stuck in my craw.

Us fans talk about finishing off opponents and putting a foot on the throat etc. Well that play was a blown opportunity, plain and simple. It wasn't as blatant as some, but started a string of momentum for the Giants that ended up with them scoring 14 points in 1.5 minutes or so, after never having crossed the half-way mark.

Seemed important to me at the time. Not only was it not a sack, I agree, I thought Manning could have been stripped OR at least really tackled hard on the play. Instead it "looked" like patty-cake. Again, I need to see replay of the play.

Game changed on Bennett's drop on the very first drive. Cowboys score a TD on the first drive, and Giants are in "here we go again" mode.

Carpenter gets all the grief, but nobody gets more love from Cowboy fans for doing absolutely nothing than Martellus Bennett.

The 4 play TD drive. The Barber fumble. Those two were the turning point of the game. I can't say I ever really felt we had momentum moving our way again after those, outside of that one little burst when we took the lead back.

I hate to say it but right now Barber shouldn't see the field very much.

Agree, and I don't think its arguable.

We go into the half at 10-0 this Giants team folds.

Instead they go out winning 14-10, and Flo gets everyone riled up with a cheap shot.

Horrible 3 minutes, and completely changes the game.

The game completely turned upside down after that.

Yep. That play absolutely ruined the entire momentum and flow of the game. If he doesn't fumble there and we can go on to score on that drive then there is a good chance that we could have made them fold.

Instead we gave them instant life.
