Not a cookin' or a eatin' during the game but I am a drankin'. Got what looks like the end o summer down here and the last day to imbibe in Hendrik's and Tonic and Tanqueray Rangpur and Topo Chico with lime aka a Rickey. Match that up with a fine hand rolled on the thighs of virgins cigar and send summer off in style.

Got some BBQ shrimp set up tonight for New Orleans/Green Bay game. I am not a Saints fan but I'd pull for the Third Reich against Rodgers and the Packers. Tomorrow night got the game of the week in BAL and you know what that means? Yep, crab cakes with plenty of Old Bay.

I am pretty jazzed about this game after watching the Texas-Tech, Miss St-LSU and UM-FSU games. This game this afternoon should have more balls in the air than the Flying Wallendas.

Woke up to Bacon, egg, cheese burritos waiting on me. I noticed the smoker bellowing smoke and before I could ask..my wife proceeds to tell me we’re having Smoked Mississippi Pot Roast Po’Boys later!

side note: these Po’Boys are not only delicious, they’re also great for soaking up beer (and tears if needed lol)

Gonna have some pulled pork, mashed potatoes, hot links and pinto beans. Nothing fancy just some good ole Texas style pulled pork. I just pulled the pork butt to wrap and cook until it reaches temp. Should be good to go by 130-2 after resting.

Ha! We only do a nice, big meal sometimes. Most of the time it’s leftovers or some type of traditional Lebanese stew which I’m sure most people won’t be too impressed with lol
