Gameday menu!

Fried oysters fresh from the bays around Rockport.
One of my best friends of all time has an RV in Rockport. He's an Army vet and retired football coach. I bet you guys know each other. His first name is Chuck.

Gonna have some pulled pork, mashed potatoes, hot links and pinto beans. Nothing fancy just some good ole Texas style pulled pork. I just pulled the pork butt to wrap and cook until it reaches temp. Should be good to go by 130-2 after resting.

Thought I might try fixing some chicken tacos and white wine.

Got some shredded lettuce and chunky salsa ready to go!

Planning on getting some onions and guacamole today.

Chicken tacos and white wine? Sounds like a bridal shower! Lol! Just kidding to each their own. For me it’s grilled rib eye steak with sautéed mushrooms and onions and several ice cold beers.

I am with you on the mountains and cold weather. We live in central Colorado at about 7,000 ft but are moving to NW Montana in a few weeks.
That's the bear's house!!! Went to Glacier years ago hiking in the back country w the wife but I brought a pistol well concealed just in case - not that it would've done more than make that big ol' bear madder though if we'd encountered one. It sounds gorgeous!!!!!! Have fun up there in that new home!!

Thanks! We are looking forward to the move (or, more appropriately, getting past the move)

Yeah, handguns and bears don't mix well. You're better off with and air horn and pepper spray. Shooting a bear with a handgun just pi$$e$ them off.

Now lets look at some things that have to be done on a regular basis here. Things like it's so cold that if you don't have a new car battery you go out and have to have a jump to start your car or to not ruin your engine having to let your car warm up so the oil is flowing right before actually driving it which means you have to buy gas more often. Talking about gas, having higher gas prices during the winter because additives have to be added to prevent gas line freeze. Then how about having to wear more layers of clothing because of the freezing cold weather or all the people that have to get treated for frost bite.. How about a little thing like those of us that wear glasses that frost up as soon as we go out in the freezing cold. and going back to cars another reason that you have to warm them up is because of frost on the inside of all the windows. and if you want to go to a drive through, good luck unless your car been running for a long time because the windows are frozen and won't go down. I have a friend who used to just give his window a tap to get it to go down until one time it was so cold that it shattered. Now he doesn't do that anymore. I could go on for a long time on all the things that suck because of living in this frozen barren wasteland.

Sounds like Alaska, which fortunately I talked my older son out of moving to after college!

What’s the difference between boneless wings and chicken tenders? I’m a traditional bone in wings guy. Extra hot too please.
Depending on the place you get it (here in Rochester, NY the boneless wings are very good) the chicken pieces are bigger than chicken nuggets but not too big as to where you can’t pop an entire one in your mouth. I don’t know what cut of chicken they are but they are prepared the same way as a bone in wing and are delicious. Give me 30 boneless wings and I’m a happy man LOL.

Depends on where you shoot them. He rears up, he's getting a bullet to the balls. If it's a female, I am giving her the gun and rearing up. That's only fair. What's good for the goose is good for the gander and those damned things can be like bears defending their nest.

Lol, I wear long sleeves anytime I’m outside and its sunny, even at work or if it’s 110 outside. Gotta protect the ink!

Speaking of tattoos, I’m long over due. I’ve been thinking of taking the next step and getting a tattoo on each hand but I’m trying to coordinate it with two other guys I work with that are gonna do it as well because we’re almost 100% positive there will be a new SOP banning hand tattoos after we get them.
Get an ewok tat on your butt cheek if we win the SB!
