Gameday menu!

Thanks! We are looking forward to the move (or, more appropriately, getting past the move)

Yeah, handguns and bears don't mix well. You're better off with and air horn and pepper spray. Shooting a bear with a handgun just pi$$e$ them off.
I use bear spray when flyfishing. Used it only once and can guarantee it works.

It’s been raining most of the day; so I felt lazy and didn’t fire up the smoker.

So beef and noodles it is.

Though, my oldest asked about making beef and noodles with brisket instead of a roast.... so I may have to try that sometime.

Little late but it was Trader Joe’s orange chicken and fry rice and some Heineken tall boyzz.

Brisket makes a great substitute for chuck for pot roast, chili, and many other meat dishes. With a pressure cooker, it can be made in barely an hour. Brown it, add spices, some water then cook.

I’m assuming Texas spaghetti has bbq sauce on it. Do you have a recipe? Love to try it.
No BBQ sauce lol but I have had BBQ spaghetti from a good friend and it was pretty good.

Texas Spaghetti is basically a baked spaghetti. Didn't realize it was a thing until joined the military and left Texas and started cooking it for others. What was normal to me growing up in Texas was different for others not from tha Long Star State.

Layered in a baking pan kinda like you would do Lasagna. Layer the cooked spaghetti first ( I typically use eggs to keep the spaghetti together ). Then you follow that up with your sauce ( combination of your favorite spaghetti sauce, chopped onions & peppers, mushrooms, Italian sausage or ground beef and seasonings ). Then top it off with a combination of cheeses.

I usually cook my spaghetti sauce in a crockpot for about 6 hours.

Thanks for the recipe! I’m definitely going to make this. I’ll probably whisk an egg in with some ricotta and mozzarella cheese and use that between the layers of spaghetti and use mozzarella and provolone as my top layer. Dang now I’m hungry! Lol!
