Gameday menu

To answer the OP, I'll be with my whole family today, and everyone brings something, so I'm bringing chicken chili (Hopefully it turns out okay. Never tried it with chicken, but we're getting to the age where the doctors are in charge, to a degree.) and chocolate cream pie. There'll be all kinds of stuff there, and I'm bringing plenty of Tupperware for the trip home.

I'm doing a not-so-great cut of brisket in a slow cooker for eight hours. And, I'm doing some of that meat in a high pressure cooker before the game. Probably finish each under a broiler with a BBQ glaze to get the outside crisp a little. I'm doing whatever I can to come up with a tender cooked brisket and seeing how the two cooks compare. This was a bad idea. lol

Bunch of leftovers today...Making room for the Christmas feast. Merry Christmas to you Cowboy fans! Even the haters!! Salud!
Im making my very own classics this Christmas Eve my friend.
Marinated hog lips sauteed in a lemon butter reduction with a splash of balsamic.
Caramelized Turkey knuckles with a black bean sauce,
and probably keeping it simple with the vegetables with a fish egg salad.

My family had some things going on, some canceled flights, and well, I’m in the process of getting on a transplant list, so me and my mom had our own Christmas celebration yesterday. So leftover prime rib, sweet potato pie and mashed potatoes all day for me.

Merry Christmas everyone and Go Cowboys!

Hey, here's hoping you get whatever organ you're waiting for as a Christmas present!!! Wish you the best holiday!

I came up from Naples to South Jersey to visit my daughters for the holiday, so no outdoor grilling for me...it's 9 degrees right now. It's a Christmas Eve traditional dinner for friends and family (Italian and Polish), so the menu is:
Flounder
Salmon
Rainbow Trout
Tilapia
Shrimp
Crab legs
Scallops
Roasted potatoes
Potato salad
Green Beans
Fresh baked bread from scratch
Pierogis, all kinds, stuffed with mushrooms, cheese, or potato
Bigos (Hunter's stew)
Borscht
Beer, wine, and vodka

Instead of seven fishes, we do seven seafoods.

Desserts include sour cream cheesecake, New York-style cheesecake with cherries, Italian Rainbow cake, cookies, Polish apple cake, and Poppy Seed cake, all homemade.

Food coma follows.

Prayers for success getting on the list and a transplant.
