You guys are making me hungry!

I am making a white lasagna, and Fennel salad tonight. My daughter bought a crepe pancake cake for dessert. And we have a holiday tradition here to make struffoli for coffee time.

Tomorrow I will make a roast chicken w/cranberry orange relish, roasted shredded Brussels sprouts with garlic and olive oil, and baked potatoes. And also a holiday tradition, a cold antipasto for an appetizer, with pepperoni stuffed zeppole.

Unfortunately all the cooking is going to be during the Cowboys game so I will record it and watch what I can today and watch it again tonight later.

I came up from Naples to South Jersey to visit my daughters for the holiday, so no outdoor grilling for me...it's 9 degrees right now. It's a Christmas Eve traditional dinner for friends and family (Italian and Polish), so the menu is:
Flounder
Salmon
Rainbow Trout
Tilapia
Shrimp
Crab legs
Scallops
Roasted potatoes
Potato salad
Green Beans
Fresh baked bread from scratch
Pierogis, all kinds, stuffed with mushrooms, cheese, or potato
Bigos (Hunter's stew)
Borscht
Beer, wine, and vodka

Instead of seven fishes, we do seven seafoods.

Desserts include sour cream cheesecake, New York-style cheesecake with cherries, Italian Rainbow cake, cookies, Polish apple cake, and Poppy Seed cake, all homemade.

Food coma follows.

Some people joke about being on a Seafood Diet. You really are!

Navidad en Nuevo Mexico.

so far it’s been posole tamales and biscochitos both my moms and granny’s. 1 more stop for round 3 at the in-laws. Xmas has been saved by a team effort.

Alaskan King Crab, Meat Jun, deep fried shrimp, Inari sushi, Chinese style steam fish, rib roast, Pancit, Lechon, Sous Vide beef, Kalbi, Mussels drowned in coconut milk, Sashimi, spare ribs and roast duck. Of course there's sides and salads.

Another family has yet to show up; their contribution: lau lau, Guisantes, crab rangoon and who know what else.

Dessert: banana lumpia, assorted mochi, tupig, puto; I know there's more, pfft.

Christmas Eve family celebration at my place.

Enjoy, everyone!
