My mother-in-law's Korean short rib stew with all of the Korean bahn-chan.
I see you have a Korean mother in-law too.

2 TBS Gochujang
2 TBS Gochugaru
2 TBS Garlic (fresh)
2 TBS Toasted Sesame oil
2 TBS Brown sugar
2 TBS Tamari or soy sauce
2 Tsp Ginger (fresh)
2 charred green onion bundles (chopped and then charred in a skillet or whole on an open flame)

Chop up all that in a bullet (or a blender) and then marinate the chicken overnight, and then BBQ it. Yes!!! *Just make sure the green onions are well chopped up in the blender before marinating.

My mother-in-law didn't like me at first since she knew I was a screw up. Once she found out that my dad served in Korea, and then came up with this recipe for Chicken Bulgogi, she now loves me. Lol

If she loves Chicken Bulgogi make that for her. It will be a family favorite after you do. That recipe is only good for about 10 chicken thighs. I use thighs because it's more flavorful than breasts, IMO.

Does your mother in-law make homemade Yaki-Mandu? Mine does. I love hers! You can even smear some Bulgogi sauce on them.

GO COWBOYS!!

Geez, I guess listing the ingredients doesn't help if people don't know what gochujang and gochugarus are :)
