Had a great weekend with my wife, daughter, son in law and dog, in Los Balcones CC, North Austin......so good, that I didn't even care that the Longhorns got beat up by Georgia. Today, back to reality....gotta cut a couple of trees down, visit my dad and get ready for the game. Keeping it simple...turkey, pepperoni, cheese and avocado roll ups with celery sticks and spicy pork rinds. Low carbing it!!! Win or lose, I don't care...Jerry won't ruin this weekend. Salud!

My first full weekend back from NZ. (It’s NOT good to be back LOL) except to watch the Cowboys live instead of YouTube highlights.

Keeping it simple this week and making some tacos

Started a monster chuck roast in the crockpot this morning before work. Thawed it yesterday and put a little rub on it overnight. Laid it on top of red potatoes, baby carrots, celery, yellow onion, and chopped garlic. Sprinkled on a package of Lipton Onion soup mix then poured in 2 cups of beef broth. We'll heat some frozen rolls with it tonight and make French Dips out of it later in the week.

I am in Finland so the game is on at 3:20am for me. Tonight I am going to have a greasy hamburger and fries. Going to wake up and watch the game. Hopefully won't be disappointed.

After the Cardinal game (they have lost 7 of 8 with their only win against us???) I have decided to forgo the usual Breakfast Of Champions today. Maybe next week I'll be into the routine again we'll see what happens tonight.

Yeah, that game was brutal. It's just not their year. And, I'm not a fan of Sarkisian.

I was at the market this morning, caveman steaks with the bone on it at least 2 feet long, the only problem is they were $60 each. Wrong time of year for me, but it was surely tempting

Took some homemade gravy (yes gravy) and meatballs that I froze last time I made a pot out of the freezer last night and bought some fresh made ravioli and will make some garlic bread with fresh mozzarella and a tomato and garlic bruschetta mix to put on top. Pre-game meal, NY style...
