What do you guy think the path is to beating Philly.

To me I think a Bill Parcellls special is needed.

I know our strength is our wideouts & QB but to me Dallas needs to run the ball early & often & control the clock.

Try to keep this game close until the 4th quarter.

If we come out trying to go toe to toe with this team we will get ran off the field. We’re walking into a hornet nest against the Super Bowl champions on opening night.

We probably are, but they just accomplished the ultimate team goal. No one is taking us seriously and they are extra vocal about it after trading away Micha.

If this team can just go out there and play smart football, and execute we could catch them by suprise.

Its never a good idea to take your opponent lightly and I could see Philly doing just that.

Run the ball and stick to it, make play action effective. Slow their run down and force Hurts to pass and see if we have any pass rush.

Ideally Dak is throwing 25 times or less.

Defense: Get them into 3rd in long, keep them out of 3rd or 4th and short because Osa and Clark are not stopping the tush push

Offense: move the ball early and keep the defense fresh. Score when it means something, ie before the game is out of reach.

The only way to win this game is if Philly is slow and rusty, or the refs try to keep it close.

Dallas could easily lose by 20.

I say go against all expectations and just throw every down. Just toss it all over the place.

Hopefully you'll score a ton of points and then ice the game.

In reality, we'll have some fun for a bit until the Eagles run down our throats for 15 play drive with 2 throws

yes! And it should be the goal each week.

The Eagles bring back pretty much the entire Super Bowl offense, although they do have a new OC. Maybe we have a better overall defense than last year, but the Eagles are going to score some, probably at least 24-30 points.

The Eagles defense will be a work in progress. New DE's that have very little experience. Missing Milton WIlliams at DT. New secondary that isn't a likely upgrade.

OUr offense should be able to move the ball but we don't want to get into a shootout. Ball control with play action, long drives are likely to be what we need. Defense has to avoid giving up the big play.

Fangio will keep them close......his D finished strong last season. They will likely pick up where they left off.

I think the defense has to bend and not break. They will probably give up plenty of yards, but hopefully hold them to FGs. Then Dak has to be on and CeeDee and Pickens have to make big plays. The 2023 version of Ferg would be swell, too.

Path to win is to get up a score, and put pressure on this opposing SB champion.

Hold Saquon early and force Hurts to throw the ball. Let some of the young pass rush get home and confident.

Then use Blue and Williams to close out the game. Ceedee should have 10-12 targets and Pickens/Ferg 8 targets split amongst them.

I see a lot of people saying “run the ball”. It sounds nice but is it realistic ? no. Dallas has had no run game for 3 seasons now.

Our most realistic chance is a shootout.
Dak -Lamb-Pickens-Ferguson.
Their secondary is overrated and they lost some key pieces.
