Hurts 40 time was two tenths of a second slower...that is fairly significant.

I really didn't say the new OC was a negative....I clearly said that they are returning pretty much the entire offense. For Dallas, the OC and DC from a year ago weren't very effective.....so something new is at least something different.

Two tenths of a second slower than Barkley. How fast is he compared to the lone guy chasing him because his teammates are chasing Saquon. In addition to a skilled offensive line, Hurts’ propensity to run was a big part of a 2,000 yard season for Barkley. Who is the Chiefs defensive coordinator?

Run the ball and minimize the amount of time the Eagles offense even gets on the field. But if it’s all about stopping Barkley don’t forget about Hurts. Hurts is younger and nearly as fast as Barkley. And he gets the ball on every play.

Hurts is nowhere near as fast as Barkley.

To me I think a Bill Parcellls special is needed.

Stop the run with Barkley and Hurts. That's the whole key to their offense. And that means containing the runs to the outside and filling the gaps. Force hurts to pass to win and that limits them.

On offense we have to establish the run and contain pass rush. If we can slow down the pass rush then we have a chance. They need to make some threw step drops and quick slant passes which is an Achilles heel for Dak. Probably a few draw plays too boot.

To me best strategy would be: Score one more point than the Eagles.

Looking back at the previous year. GB slowed down Barkley compared to a lot of other teams. 2 games 25 carries, 4.5 average. Lol. Also Clark played both games.

Last year against Dallas the first game, they didn’t give Barkley many touches Didn’t need him because Hurts put in work. The season ending game Barkley destroyed this defense.

The eagles are a tough team to defend because we saw KC place the highest emphasis on stopping Barkley who was having an insane postseason, and Hurts made them pay for it.

I’m pretty sure the only matchup that could be a win is Dal Pass Off vs Philly Pass Def.

The Eagirls are walking into a hornets nest on Thursday night called the Dallas Cowboys. You run the ball down the throat of ANY team and you’re going to win. That’s why I’ve been preaching it for years. Finally catching on.

Has any Cowboys head coach come up with a decent game plan since Parcells?

Agreed, the best chance is quick slants to the wideouts and let them make YAC. If Dak drops back and waits for them to run downfield, he's in trouble.

If the Eagles offensive line plays poorly, their wide receivers run poor routes, their tight end forced to help in pass protection, if Hurts doesn’t think it’s a big game, and Barkley forgets it a Thursday game, I feel the Cowboys chances are better than 50/50.
