As I said, some Cowboys fans can’t admit it.
well the Cowboys should beat Eagles without Jalen Hurts in the lineup but you never know what team we put on the field week to week to be sure so here's hoping to just winning the game.

With that being said, a win or loss says nothing different really until this team wins multiple playoff games, possibly the superbowl would be a minimum for many here. Many of us fans have seen this rerun so long, we feel like we can write the script. Me personally, I used to get so worked up believing the lie at the start every year, yeah we got this player, we got so and so, look a new coach, yada yada yada. got so worked up, sometimes affecting my life. Not anymore. I still root for my team to win, but if they don't, it really doesn't bother me. It allows me, as well as many others who have done the same, to look at this team and its approach with a more realistic viewpoint. No more rose-colored glasses, no more believing the corporate ad campaign selling this team as more than it is. My main point is and what I am talking about here is show it on the field. Don't offer me anymore false hope, grand gestures of what you can be as a team, or anything like that. Be it. Do it on the field and when you do do it, I will be (sorry for the mcdonalds cli'che) loving it right along the team and all their fans.

anyways, here is to a good game hopefully.

Edit: this post wasn't necessarily pointing at you, just making a point to those who like to question the fanhood of those fans out there who are not quick to verbally "buy in" to the greatness that is expected of the Dallas Cowboys year in and year out.

Yep. They’re capable of beating anybody but also capable of losing to anybody. Maddeningly inconsistent.

I hear you. And I’m pretty much in that same place. The only thing I would say is that this game is important in one area in my mind and that is to help Dallas to get out of the current funk they’re in. If they lose to the Eagles with a backup quarterback, they’ll only spiral further downward and look like non-competitive frauds.

anyways, here is to a good game hopefully.

Agreed!

You’re preaching to the choir on that.

More important matchup is our run def vs their run. Minshew may only throw for 125 yards, but they put 200y on the ground
