calling plays his offenses scored

369
376
439

His defenses gave up
347
400
432

The last 3 years under Dak we’ve scored
421 -2016
354 - 2017
339 - 2018

If the goal of the offseason is to find a way to score more points there isn’t a better KNOWN option than Garrett.

Hope the defense holds up and Dak can play in a Mike Martz style that utilizes the RB more

And how many games did Garrett cost us by cost us by constantly throwing the ball even when we had large leads?

Detroit we were up 27-3 and this here guy keeps throwing it

Green Bay with Matt Flynn we were up 26-3 and Murray was averaging 15 yards per carry and we kept throwing it

That’s grounds for insubordination

Well with Zeke I doubt he only gets 10 carries in a game we’re ahead by such a large margin in the second half

People forget, the complaints/concerns about Garrett calling plays was not Garrett calling plays....

It was how his focus on the offense was keeping him from managing the overall game... primarily, centered on time management.

Wasn't from me. I complained about all of that. His playcalling sucked. And he hasn't improved his clock management skills yet either.

That was pretty much all on Romo. Good luck duplicating that. Also those teams were 8-8. Should have been fired then.
Same with GB, PITT, NO, Seattle, etc. All of whom struggled with their HOF QBs not in the line up. Only ex option is NE but then again he is on e in a generation coa h.

Be interesting to see how Garrett calls the offense with Dak. He was pass happy and sometimes aggressive with Romo (especially early), hence all the previously common Tecmo Bowl references.

^this. But he has gotten better with that so perhaps he can do both again.

And that was with mostly Romo at the helm. Not Prescott.

It was the play calling too. Way too intent on the pass. Even if the run game was working. That is why things changed with Callahan and later Linehan.

Not insubordination...dereliction of duty.
