Taking the final FG out of the equation, Jason Garrett made some big-time, gutsy calls tonight.

Fake punt from his own 24, followed right up by the flea flicker, and then going for it again on 4th and 1 on the paper measurement play.

Jason finally coached to win. He deserves respect for one day at least!

Garrett diffidently deserves a pat on the back but he won't get from the Mr.Bill crowd.
I read some troll comments during the game from zoners that just amaze me.
I guess I'm old.

Had we not gotten the touchdown....and gave it to the Raiders and they marched down the field on us and lost by a field goal we'd be killing Garrett.

It just depends on the opponent IMO. If its the Packers.....i'm being more aggressive there. But the Raiders? Without Cooper? I'm not playing aggressive on that play. I'm taking my 3 points and letting my defense take a stand.

Feel the same way... He is usually a tool-bag but he showed a little fortitude tonight for once. I am not going to complain. Linnehan needs to find his cajones now..

It was third and goal from the one yard line, and we just succeeded on a fourth and 18 inches by the width of a piece of paper... the run game wasn't working like it normally does, especially without Tyron, I don't blame him at all.

I'm one of the few supporters of Garrett left on this board and I applaud the gusty calls EXCEPT for not going for it on 4th and goal from the 1 at 1:47 left on the road.

he has done this a lot actually. We beat the lions in the playoff game in 14 because he went for it on 4th and 1 from the 1 and then 4th and I think it was 5 when romo hit witten on the game winning drive. The lions punted twice on 4th and mediums in the 4th qtr.

absolutely perfect throw.

how he can make that throw so perfect and then miss the corner route to dez on first down on that first play of the final drive is nuts to me. if he hits dez there dez is off and running.

of course he made up for it with the deep ball.
