I don't see any crossing and/or timing routes by this offense ; other teams use them against us (effectively and) constantly and we're using pass patterns that take 4 seconds or more to develop..........................

And we consistently run when every team knows we are going to run and pass when every team knows we are going to pass. Linehan and Garrett’s predictable play calls make it much easier for the defense to defend our Offense. We try to run against 8-9 man fronts all the time. It is so dumb. We end up with 3rd an long and our mediocre O line has to try to hold up vs a D front that knows we are passing.

After firing some of the staff from last year it brought Garrett and Linehan this year but if this team doesn't make the playoffs it will be his last. Tbh I love this team but I hope they dont make the playoffs so Garrett can be fired. For the long term sake of this franchise.

I have no belief that Garret is on any form of "hot seat". Jerry is invested in him till death do them part. Garrett is Jerry's last hoorah at being considered a "football guy".

The thing is even if the stupid penalty doesn't happen and Maher hits the kick, this team would have found a way to lose in overtime anyway.

That's the signature hallmark and will be the legacy of the Garrett Era when it mercifully ends - this team always manages to find new and more interesting ways to lose football games.

It's like Garrett's mutant superpower.

I have defended Garrett but his game management on that final drive was horrible. The decision to play for the tie was gutless. He was too conservative or the alternative is...he doesn't trust his QB would have made the plays to win the game. Either way...the hot seat is deserved.
