Garrett's contract expires after 2019 unless I missed a contract extension.

I've seen some references to him being under contract longer but I think the extension in this article was the most recent one.

Jerry will probably let him play out the contract as well.

Garrett should have been on a heavily incentive laden contract from day one. smdh...

Yes. I said it... The only head coach h in the league with an incentive laden contract. What has be done to earn otherwise?

Pay him per playoff win only... I bet that would light a clapping firestorm.

He signed this contract after 2014 when our team finished 12-4 and were a bad rule away from the NFCCG.

This was after we lost Lee for the season, cut Ware and also let a few more pieces go. I remember USA Today picked us to be 1-15 that season which looked smart considering how awful Romo looked week one returning from surgery after we got crushed by the 49ers.

Come contract negotiations, you’re only as valuable as your most recent season. Garrett did well in his contract year. If we didn’t pay him, someone else would’ve.
