Cowboys coach Jason Garrett was named the AP coach of the year after directing the Cowboys to a 13-3 record following a 4-12 record in 2015. He did it with a rookie QB in Dak Prescott and rookie running back in Ezekiel Elliott as well as dealing with a number of injuries to other key players.

I think Marinelli had an awful game plan out the gate. Our defense was their normal, bend don't break, self after the first 25 minutes. We could've beat Atlanta if we came in and played defense like we had all season up to those first 25 minutes.
