He will get a raise, new title of Assistant Head Coach, and the assurance of the job in a year or two. He will wait. This is where he wants to be!

The latter most definitely.

If Garretts offensive continue the scoring throughout the season. More than likely he would be offered a HC job. Does Jerry fire Wade and hire Garrett.
I know it is early, but something that may become reality.

Jerry needs someone to fix the defense. JG will be a head coach somewhere, maybe JJ has already promised him the job in due time. WAde is needed to replicate the SD defense.

I do think Garrett will be the next Head Coach and I also feel he'll honor the Boyz his waiting chance after Wade retires or leaves. I actually think Jason Garrett will be a very good Head Coach but I don't see it until the 2009 season or after.

one game and people are already talking nonsense:rolleyes:

Wow seriously.:banghead:

People don't seem to understand that the Giants really aren't that great of a team.

Seriously sportsman, don't put too much kool-aid into your homer cup. If we start losing you will be eating your words.

Garrett is a pretty good play caller, but the fact is he has only a few years of coaching experience, and besides, the season has only just begun.

Let me see, our starting OLB couldn't play so we played our rookie who did pretty good in second half. Our starting CB is injuried and we lost our starting NT in the first quarter. Also our backup ILB Kevin Burnett only played a little on ST--not ready to play in nickle/dime situation for probably another week. AND our team is adjusting to a new 3-4 scheme. With all our injuries, I think Jones will give him 1 more year to fix our defense.

Don't you guys understand that Jerry and Jason already have a handshake agreement that he's the next head coach after Wade gets his shot for a couple of years and gets the defense in order? Actually, I'm half-serious about that. :)

I don't see Red going anywhere.

No he pays Garrett extremely well and or makes him assistant head coach if Sparano leaves. Garrett will be next in line for HC but it will be in Dallas. Just in time for the new stadium opener.
