The majority of contact isn't experienced from carrying the ball. Very nice to know. You should open a school.

What in the world are you talking about? There's more contact when he doesn't have the ball in his hands? Or what?

Here's how you sound right now.

Blah blah blah blah blah

That must be fun.

OK, nevermind. Should have known better to get back into this.

Maybe if we just throw the ball to Murray from now on instead of handing off to him he can play until he's 50.

I hope garrett at least got on his knees to beg him to stay.

And I hope Murray say, he say: "You found monies to pay Beaseley; how about me?"

I still think that if we bring Murray back, we need to find a suitable backup. That's why I say if McFadden is cheap, sign him to a short term deal. He is very similar to Murray and has receiving abilities.

I think Randle took a big step, but he's more of a home run hitter late in the game.

Huh??? We had one of, if not the most potent running attack last year. Why do we need a suitable backup? Do some of you just throw stuff out there just because?

First, Gordon and Gurley are not expected to be off the board at #27, that is why many have mocked them for Dallas assuming Murray leaves.

If they choose a defensive player at #27 and Murray leaves then rounds 2-3 will be in play for a good RB who can still produce.

No one is claiming we would draft a RB early if Murray stays but we will probably draft a RB if he stays to lighten the load because they do not trust Randle probably from the 4th on in that scenario.

I never claimed this is anything new but since the draft is deep, you can get a good RB deeper in the draft even if it is a back up.

Again, your argument was that this is not a deep RB class, just the same as every other year, these are your words.

You are wrong, the experts think you are wrong, that about sums the matter up.

No one is arguing every running back in this draft will be ALL PRO, just that the class is deep with some good running backs.

If they don't trust Randle, then why wouldn't they try to trade him? Do some of you even listen to yourselves? You make no sense. Zero. It's the same thing about Chip Kelly mortgaging their future to draft Mariota. When did he ever say that? Some of you just take these idiotic speculations and consider them facts just because some guy said so. Is it possible that they could still trade Randle? Sure. But at this time, you have no evidence that they don't want him to be the primary backup to Murray. You're just listening to noise.

Jerry needs to cut him a check out of the ole personal account for the difference in the oak or jags deal and his

I wonder if things like this have ever gone down with players that a team really wants and has the actual cash, but not the cap space...

Michael Irvin on NFL Network just now was trying to get the Demarco deal done. :lmao:

Asked what he would tell Jerry right now about the situation...(paraphrase)
I would tell Jerry that its okay to overpay a little for Demarco Murray because it will help everyone in the locker room; other players remember this type of stuff and you need to show your commitment to one of your key guys.

My "inside Sources" tell me that Coach Garrett met Murray after the game and they teamed up with Adrian Peterson to help him go house shopping.

Of course my sources could be wrong.

I heard they were scheduling an MMA style fight between the two for the position.

They were comparing notes taken from their visit with Coach K, so when they met with Coach Carlise they would have some advice on how the Mavs could improve their game.

Gotta love Garrett, it's good to see a coach who loves his players fight to keep them around. Hopefully this will help DeMarco stay.

Mike is absolutely correct. Even in the real world, you have to show your team that you are going to reward the superstars instead of letting them walk.

Got to say, if the reports are true that Murray personally called up the Chipster and expressed how bad he wants to be an Eagle and play in that spread offense with his old college roommate Bradford..................peace out.

I am done with him if he did that.....................there are some things you just don't do and calling up the head coach of your hated division rival and begging for a contract is one of them.

What are you questioning here? I never said we didn't have a great rushing attack. I'm saying I don't want Murray carrying the load again. carrying the ball nearly 400 times is too much. Cut his carries to about 270 carries and have a backup rush around 100 times.
