Garrett not expected to be extended, per Schefter

:dance: let him prove it we all knew when KM was made OC this will all end with slow start next season and they will all be let go if it resembles our first half of 2018..if that happens the interim HC has KR slide in and Interim OC Nuss, and DC will be Marinelli if hes still here..pretty easy transition.. I doubt they have a long leash..

You just indirectly said Belichick is better than Tom Landry.

Might want to lay low for awhile and consider plastic surgery.

I rise from the dead.

I think when you factor in situations, Garrett's run in Dallas with two playoffs wins in 8 years is much better than Belichick's run in NE where he won 5 SBs and coached in 13 AFC Champ games.

I'm impressed that Garrett winning a wild card game and then crapping out wasn't good enough for Jerry (finally.)

Makes it a lot less surprising that Garrett didn't/couldn't get anyone from outside to be OC. You're not getting an outside hire for a HC on the last year of a deal like that.

So 2019 is definitely a year of uncertainty.

Either we suck, and clean house.

Or we're better-than-average again and Garrett signs an extension.

Neither option seems very desirable.

If better-than-average gets Garrett an extension, Jerry wouldn't have put it off until next year, because that's exactly what he did this year.
