Can you remember a time when you said, man Garrett really outcoached that coach? Watching other games over the weekend there were several other games that I made the comment.

Probably 2007 but it was probably just Sporano holding his hand..

As a head coach... I think he peaked against the Giants in his first game by just getting the guys back in the right mental state..

I wouldn't mind Garrett as the HC if he would just allow us to follow game plans that are up to modern day NFL standards.

It's a parity football league and it needs to be coached like it instead of being coached like its salary cap free 1992 and our 4th string defensive tackle is a future pro bowler.

Bill Belichick has laid out the game plan for consistency in today ms modern NFL.. System and scheme are VERY important to consistently win.

Garrett has shown us for almost a decade now how to be a 50/50 team in modern football.

Actually think he outcoached Chip Kelly last September in that game up in Philly where Romo broke his collar bone. Well, more likely, Marinelli outcoached Chip Kelly.

Don't think he was outcoached Sunday. Two incomplete passes were the difference in the game...the Dez incompletion and the Cole Beasley incompletion. Both would have been TDs and were well designed plays. Instead Dallas had to settle for FGs. Football always comes down to a few plays per game or the proverbial "game of inches".

Dallas lost by one point in a game they should have won because they didn't finish drives with TDs. Execution is as much to blame as poor coaching. Players cannot be exonerated just like Coaches can't be either.

I think you're right. That 2007 game in New York when the lights turned out was his coaching pinnacle and it's been down hill ever since then. I always said that DB McClain got Garret his job because he made a lot of big plays in that game and in the rest of 2007 and then we cut him. I think we cut him because our coaches despise playmaking corners.

You honestly believe that Garrett doesn't have any input in the offensive scheme whatsoever, and you want to call other fans dumb?

He has a say in game planning, but he doesn’t call plays during the game

Did you see the rookie qb that was expected to be third string lead the team up and down the field. Did you see a total lack of punting in the first half?

Boy, that head coach sure proved he doesn’t know what he is doing

wow, we sure were out-coached.

lost by one point with a rookie qb that was supposed to be third string and both our starting defensive ends suspended

dumbest fan base in all of sports!

Yep, Dak had a fantastic first quarter. He was 9/10 for 82 yards, completing 90% of his passes. And then what happened?

2nd quarter: 5/9 for 52 yards. 55.6% completion rate. 72.5 QB rating.
3rd quarter: 5/9 for 27 yards. 55.6% completion rate. 60.9 QB rating.
4th quarter: 6/17 for 66 yards. 35.3% completion rate. 47.7 QB rating.

It took the NYG defense two whole drives to figure out how to stop Dak, and Garrett/Linehan never adjusted.

But please, keep beating your chest and talking others down because it makes you feel like Mr. Superfan.

so we didn't make enough adjustments for our third string QB to satisfy you, so the head coach was the issue.

I'm not a superfan, but I'm not an idiot either

You think the only problem on offense was the QB? What about the run game? Where was Dez? Do all of these guys suck or were they outschemed?

if you think your question is a a good one, I have news for you - you should probably stay out of football discussions

as fans, we have one problem - we don't know what the play call is. It is very likely our 3rd string qb was not able to keep up with the speed of the game.

like it or not we fans are playing checkers while a coach like Garrett is playing chess. If you want to be one of the ignorant people pretending to not be ignorant, all the power to you. but you are ignorant, and will remain that way so long as you don't sit in meeting rooms.

we are being fans.

what we are not being is informed. we are in the dark.

do you know that Dak checked out of play calls? Do you know if he chose to not hit a wide open Dez who was the first read on a play?

you don't know these things, yet here you are claiming someone has been outcoached.

Out of 75 offensive plays, Dez Bryant was the target of 5 of them. Are you really going to lay all of that on Dak Prescott, the rookie "3rd string quarterback," as you put it? Because that would make him the most powerful third-stringer in all of sports.
