Yes, our #1 receiver was used as a decoy and we thew screens to Witten while our #5 pick collects dust. Great gameplan. We've gone on for days on end discussing this and all we're going to do is rehash and repeat ourselves.

We get it. Garrett can do no wrong in some folks' eyes. Many of the fans and now the media are starting to second guess. There's always an excuse for Garrett, as if he's not culpable for anything.

And while excuses are made because we had our 3rd string QB in the game, it looks an awful lot like what we saw with Weeden, Cassel and Moore.

Out of 75 offensive plays, Dez Bryant was the target of 5 of them. Are you really going to lay all of that on Dak Prescott, the rookie "3rd string quarterback," as you put it? Because that would make him the most powerful third-stringer in all of sports.
Sigh
Out of 75 plays, Dak targeted him on 5 of them

There, I fixed it in a way that is accurate, and not based on an agenda or any level of ignorance.

Actually, your entire argument is based on ignorance. You are trying to pretend like there is absolutely no way to know why Dez only received five targets the entire game because everything in the game of football is one giant mystery. That's absurd. We know enough about this offensive system and its tendencies, as well as how NFL gamelans are constructed, to know that it isn't out of the question to wonder why the coaching staff didn't create more opportunities to get Dez the ball.

Here's a crazy idea -- how about a sub package with Butler and Williams on the outside with Dez in the slot running some of Beasley's routes? Why not play to Dak and Zeke's strengths by incorporating more read option plays to punish NY for stacking the box? Why continue to send Dez on fly routes into double coverage when using an $18M player as a decoy is essentially a self-created competitive disadvantage in a salary capped league?

if you think your question is a a good one, I have news for you - you should probably stay out of football discussions

as fans, we have one problem - we don't know what the play call is. It is very likely our 3rd string qb was not able to keep up with the speed of the game.

like it or not we fans are playing checkers while a coach like Garrett is playing chess. If you want to be one of the ignorant people pretending to not be ignorant, all the power to you. but you are ignorant, and will remain that way so long as you don't sit in meeting rooms.

You come across as bitter and miserable as your Avatar suggests. Good choice.

Contradict yourself much hypocrite? You demean and talk down to others for having an opinion about Garret's coaching because you know, it's all a "mystery", and then make the assumption that Dak is the one responsible for not targeting Dez more. You invalidate your own argument.

Congrats you just used the most cliche and unimaginative retort in all of existence.. Perhaps you're just projecting your own lack of intelligence.

perhaps you don't know what the meaning of target is, or maybe you think he is so inaccurate that we can't ascertain who he targets on a giving pass?

wasted enough time with your nonsense though
