I thought Bass was the starting strongside DE if Spencer could not go. Bass usually plays DT on passing downs, so this may be where Rayford to DT stories are coming from.

Bass, was never going to play DE, he was a backup DT.

Long and Cohen are now the back up DT's.

yep, Chiefs have alot of talent just had really bad coaching & no qb to speak of last year & Rams are a really young & play tough they aren't the same team Murray gashed in his coming out party(which I was lucky enough to see in person

because of Bass' injury,Rayford will play inside at DT. His listed at 267 lbs.. decent weight but at 6-7...that is light to play at d tackle
