Someone had posted JG record since becoming the HC compared to others hired around the same time. Just trying to get that info. Couldn't find it on here.
lol, I bet the OP thinks twice before asking that question again. Here you go:
- There are 9 NFL coaches who have been on the same job since Garrett was hired. Garrett ranks 8th in winning percentage amongst that group. Only Marvin Lewis is lower.
- Of coaches that have been on the same job for 5 or more years, Garrett ranks 11th in winning percentage
- In the last four years, which some fans claim has been a good run for the Cowboys, Garrett's winning percentage amongst coaches employed over that same 4 year period is 10th.
Lol no at all. A lot of what I was asking for.lol, I bet the OP thinks twice before asking that question again.

His playoff record with a franchise top 5 QB is a sight to behold
Check it out
Less than 30% to make the playoffs
30% win percentage
1 playoff victory in 8 years
If that ain't coaching excellence I don't know what is
How can you not beg for another 8 years of that?

Romo was dam close, top 10 for sure.
The fact that Garrett doesn't even qualify for the playoffs almost 3/4 of the seasons he has coached tells you all you need to know, regardless of how Romo is rated.
I’m not sure it’s a fair analysis comparing Garrett to other teams with a normal front office and GM.
I’d be more apt to compare Garrett to our other Cowboy coaches this era.
We’ve had more proven and experience HC without much more success so I think the problem is much more deeply rooted than our HC.
Our process appears to be a little different than many others.Just look at the resumes of the HC in the playoffs.
There are 4 rookie HC who turned their team around in their first year.
All but Murlarkey and Rivera(3rd year) had their teams in the playoffs within 2 years.
A good coach can turn a bad team around quickly. Look at what Parcells did with our 5-11 team.
