With the Giant's opening I could see Jason pushing Jerry for a quick decision on his future.
Technically, Jerry has until 1/14/20 before Garrett's contract expires.
Don't think Jerry would hold Jason hostage if he wanted to pursue the Giant's gig.
Interesting dynamic at play there.

He doesn't really need to, to be honest. I'm sure there are already wink, wink agreements in place. Garrett's not going to be retained. It's just a matter of time. If the Giants truly want Garrett and Garrett wants to be there, the formalities are nothing but that.

I would tell him don't let the door hit you in the *** on the way out or I would kick it into his *** on the way out

since his contract is over (or at least will be) then he's more or less free to do what he wants in his job search. he doesn't need to force a hand at all.

He will drag this out till the 14th too, while everyone else is doing there thing. He still will not have cut bait with red. Watch
