News: Garrett took accountability

Oh, goodie, yet another chance to demonstrate you’re a lying hypocrite.

Feel free to show me the post where I said (as you quoted):

“there’s a long list of players that think Garrett is a snake".

Go fetch it for me...now git

I fetched the exact quote, why are you still lying?

“...had a cup of coffee here.”

So what is the requisite amount of time for it to be a legitimate comment? Garrett has been involved in a coaching capacity with the Cowboys since 2007.

TO and Crayton were both around Garrett for 2-3 seasons each. Hatcher was on the team when Garrett was around from 2007-2013.

These are just new ways of trying to dismiss critical comments from former players.

I didn’t dismiss them at all. I’m the one that pointed them out. They are what they are. A very few disgruntled players going all the way back to his coordinating days.

It’s not exactly news that Jessie Holley wasn’t a significant contributor here.

Austin they hired one camp when he was trying to get into coaching.

I thought Austin had a bigger role than that, when I googled it just now he also interviewed for the WR coach job last year. Hard to believe he would do that if he really thought Garrett was a "snake".

You missed the "bad attitude" part of my post, you lying buffoon.

https://www.espn.com/blog/dallas/co.../patrick-crayton-pops-off-about-jason-garrett

It’s been common knowledge that Crayton lacked respect for Jason Garrett since he followed Terrell Owens into the offensive coordinator’s office to complain about Jason Witten’s role in the offense. During an appearance with ESPN 103.3’s Ben and Skin Show, Crayton made it clear he had a personal problem with Garrett.

So you’re motive mongering “oh, well Crayton had a bad attitude.....therefore, I can just dismiss what he said.”

You want to engage with me and you haven’t shown a modicum of ability to put together a sound counter argument other than “oh, yeah?!? Wuh, well give me more names! Oh, those guys don’t count. They got bad attitudes.”

What I've done is show you lying about your own posts IN THIS THREAD. Right after you called me a liar, that is pretty impressive buffoonery.

The fact you think a player’s contribution has any bearing whether the claim being made is credible is telling.

He was a player in that locker room, had relationships with the coaching staff and fellow players.

Can't forget Tony Romo said :

"Jason Garrett isn't an x's and o's guy. " <--- Which is exactly why he was signed for by Jerry Jones .

Romo destroyed Garrett.

It’s telling that I recognize that a players ability is a factor in how significant his voice is on a football team, yes. Just like the fact that you don’t get that is telling that you’re looking g fairly naively at the issue. On top of the fact that you apparently don’t recognize that it’s rare for any of Garrett’s players to speak badly of him after many years and common for them to say good things about him.

That’s because it’s yet another made up example that somebody probably decided was fact in some thread somewhere.

Sure, but we would have won last week if Miles Austin doesn't call for the fair catch and returns that punt for a score.

Yeah, no.

If Jesse Holley was trying to instill himself as a leader while here or hold locker room meetings, then his contribution/role/production may correlate with his ability to do so.

Him expressing what he witnessed or experienced with coaching staff or teammates has nothing do with his contribution.

Again, that’s just you inventing a way to conveniently characterize his comments to dismiss them.

Secondly, it’s rare to have players crap on coaches in large number, so to try and draw meaning from the relatively small number is misguided and unconvincing. Feel free to provide examples to the contrary.

Lastly, it’s hardly a surprise the players you hear talking are no longer playing because they have nothing to lose. Criticizing your former head coach is never a good look for a free agent looking for a new team. would wager after Garrett’s tenure is done in Dallas you’ll hear more criticisms.

"large number" is another Cal Poly lie. You showed three players at best, over a ten year period. And lied about Dez calling him a snake.

I'd like to see any HC in the NFL that has been in the job ten years who doesn't have at least that many malcontents saying things about them.

Moron.

You can stop googling Miles Austin.

Tavon Austin is the player that’s relevant to the discussion.

Lool, my gosh you’re breathtakingly dumb.

Read the sentence:

“Secondly, it’s rare to have players crap on coaches in large number, so to try and draw meaning from the relatively small number is misguided and unconvincing.”

That means it’s rare for players to come out in large numbers criticizing a head coach, so to keep asking like an idiot “gimme more names,” and expect to get a list of 20-30 names is dimwitted.

And yet here you are.

Whatever dude. If you think Jessie’s opinion carried the same weight that adds or TO’s opinions carried, knock yourself out. It was a passing reference after I pointed him out, and I’ve already explained why I don’t believe his opinion was all that significant. He wasn’t a good player and he wasn’t here very long.

You’re the one trying to make a point the evidence doesn’t support. And now you’re backpedaling trying to explain why you believe something with almost no actual evidence. That’s not really my problem.

Sure...sure...it’s not your problem to deal with evidence you don’t want to believe.

Brilliant.

You’re referring to the evidence I offered myself here and are then trying to suggest I’m saying I didn’t believe it when what I actually said was that it’s pretty anemic given how many years he’s been coaching in Dallas and how many players have been cut in that time? Got it.

There’s a long list of players that think Garrett is a snake.

I’m guessing you don’t want to believe them because it doesn’t for the narrative.

Really? Why don’t you tell us who those players are. I bet you if there’s more than T.O and crayton , every player that’s on this infamous list must have been cut, waived, released or not resigned because of their play or attitude which would make that list irrelevant
