The dak struggles against teh zone narrative is dumb and has been debunked over and over again.
No better time to keep debunking the narrative than Sunday. Personally I’m kind of glad the Packers play zone, I feel the more playoff games with zone defense the better he’ll be. And it’s more opportunity to re-write the narrative.

If Tyler Smith and Zack Martin start struggling in the 1st Half, pull them and plug in the quicker/more mobile TJ Bass and Brock Hoffman. There is no 2nd chance tries. No tomorrow. It's do or go home time.

The Packers' defense can be defeated easily when they are stretched out on a long field. So I hope the Cowboys take deep shots early when they are on their side of the field. CeeDee should have a very good day.

There are plenty of holes in the GB secondary. They spot WRs and TEs both over a 100 rating on the year.

The danger for Dallas is 3 fold:

1. Turnovers. We cannot give away possessions. Play smart and clean.

2. Penalties. Can we play disciplined and fundamentally sound football? We don’t want to abort drives through self inflicted mistakes.

3. Lots of pressure on Jordan Love. The kid is playing out of his mind right now. GB has given up the 3rd fewest sacks on the year. Gotta make him uncomfortable

4. Tackling. Jones can hurt us. Fill the gaps, know your assignments, pursue through the whistle, wrap up and get all ball carriers on the ground
I don't see Dallas producing at a negative level on turnovers at home.

Penalties will rear it's head but let's hope they are not on 3rd downs or in the Red Zone.

This referee group better call more than a single holding call on Parsons.

Defense will be fine...and solid on defensing the run as well.

The Packers run D is 28th in the league. Exploit that as much as possible and the passing game will prosper.

Honestly not worried about Green Bay, it would maybe worry me a bit if we were playing on their field, but I’d still be confident. We’re a good team at home and this is Loves first playoff game, hit him a few times and watch him crumble.

FRISCO, Texas — Another year, and another playoff run is impending for the Dallas Cowboys. Fortunately for those in the building, this has become the norm under head coach Mike McCarthy, but the success in the postseason has yet to come to fruition. Heading into the playoffs this time around, the setup couldn't be any better for the Cowboys to make their deepest postseason run since 1995. They are guaranteed at least two home playoff games in the Wild Card and Divisional Rounds, they get to avoid the San Francisco 49ers until a potential NFC Championship Game, and they get to duck the hottest team in the NFC in the Los Angeles Rams until a potential conference championship as well...

I think the obvious starts with the most reliable and consistent thing that a Cowboys team has had in some time: the connection between Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb. It's already been solidified as the best quarterback-to-receiver connection in franchise history with Lamb's multiple franchise records, and it has the potential to be a postseason staple in 2023...

Next, things were looking rough on the defensive side of the ball in the loss to Buffalo. In the absence of Johnathan Hankins, the Cowboys defense gave up more rushing yards in that game than they had in any game since 2013 and were run out of Orchard Park with a loss reminiscent of the one they took in Santa Clara earlier in the season. Now, Hankins is back healthy and the defense is coming off a stretch that has seen them limit opponents to just 88 rushing yards per game and 17 points per game in three games. The running game problems seem to be fixed up the middle with the addition of Hankins back into the lineup and the secondary remains firm...

The last point I will touch on as it pertains specifically to the Green Bay game, the Cowboys have a great opportunity to use one thing to their advantage to win this game – and no, this time it is actually not the fact that they're playing at AT&T Stadium. Winning the time of possession battle has been critical in determining the outcome of games this season with the Cowboys going 8-2 when winning that stat category. When possessing the ball for more than 35 minutes, that number is a pure 6-0...

McCarthy admitted on Monday. “That doesn’t even need to come into our energy base, but you live and learn. This game is about our commitment. It doesn’t matter who we’re playing.

(referenced Game against Green Bay previously:

It’s truly a perfection of coincidence, or karma, depending upon your belief system but, regardless of which is the actual driver here, you won’t see or hear McCarthy playing up the matchup; and that’s because of the outcome of the previous clash in 2022, when Aaron Rodgers engineered a comeback win at Lambeau Field. The Cowboys held a firm 28-14 lead in the third quarter before losing 31-28 in overtime.
