The recent Man of Steel viral countdown has not culminated in a new trailer, but we have received a rather menacing message from General Zod.

There is a new countdown at iwillfindhim.com that will likely result in the release of the film’s third trailer, as it appears to be aligned with Warner Bros.’ panel presentation on Tuesday, April 16, at CinemaCon in Las Vegas.

I hate youtube. It reminds me of my old dialup internet days. It's the only site I go to where I have buffering. A 32 second video shouldn't take me nearly 5 minutes to watch.

Pretty cool. Excited to see Snyder/Nolan's take on my fav superhero.

It really is difficult to replace Christopher Reeve, though.

Not amused...

I always love how "viral" is used by the media to describe videos they promote, thereby perpetuating them to be viral. Advertising is a better description :D

On a side note .. there is something that has always bugged me about how Superman looks. He's always presented as tall and very muscular, but if he has super powers that make him strong, it would be nearly impossible for him to build muscle. On top of that, building muscles requires damaging your muscle tissues which would be impossible for him as any injuries he has heal back to the original state.

Over-analyzing a comic book hero? :D

Actually, it was the tv/movie versions when I was a kid where I first came up with it :D

Hate to bring up Reeve again, but he wasn't exactly muscle-bound as Cavill appears to be in Man of Steel.

I get your point though.

In some versions of the comic he is able to manipulate the physiological makeup of his body to some extent, making him appear tall and muscular as Superman, but thin and shorter as Clark.

Absent that, there is no need for him to build muscle. He just is that way naturally.

Haha fair enough. I would be lying if I said I haven't had the same thoughts before. How does superman shave?

He burns the hair off of his face by bouncing his heat vision off of a mirror.
