If the Giants win the division but don't make the playoffs this guy is going to look like a genius.

Apparently there is some sort of tiebreaker that vaults the 2nd place team to division winners, thus negating the Giants' division-best record:

"I predict an 8-8 finish (for the Skins), but that might be good enough to win the NFC East once again if they capture the tiebreakers."

So his predictions are as follows:

Giants 9-7
Washington 8-8
Eagles 6-10
Cowboys 6-10

Yet, in his predictions, the Giants miss out on the playoffs due to tie breakers.

'Kay...

I thought a division winner was in automatically. Can a wild card bump a division winner?

So........... to sum this up.

RealGM's Senior Football writer reached these conclusions:

1) That no team from the NFC East will apparently make the playoffs
2) That Nick Hayden, was in fact, a big time DT and Thornton can't hold his jock
3) No way the Cowboys can do better than 6-10, despite two months earlier proclaiming the smart money would be taking the Cowboys and the over at 9.5 wins.
4) Cowboy don't match up well with the division despite Romo's recent run of 14-5 against division opponents.
