Geographical realignment would improve NFL

Well, if you do all of that then why not do away with divisins all together, conferences too. just let the 12 best teams in the playoffs and we'll be done with it. Since their arent NFC/AFC anymore it doesn't matter where a team was. Seed it like the NCAA march madness and take it from there.

I wouldn't change a thing but if I did, that is how I would do it. And nobody would play 2 times a year either. unless it was the playoffs or the SB. This was, the top 12 teams ALWAYS go to the playoffs every year.

They pretty much realigned it already when they went to 4 4 team divisions and moved Seattle over to NFC, and they wisely left Dallas and Miami in the East.

I'm against any and I mean ANY realignment that involves Saints fans coming to Dallas every year. No way!!!!

guess what you moron we had the cardinals in our division and the Rivalry never ever happen. The Texans hate Dallas but Dallas careless about the Texan. The Texans fans have pen envy from living in Dallas's shadow even when they had good teams.

This idea provides clear evidence that Bialy has no idea how rivalries work or more importantly, how television revenue works. Dallas is in a division with Philadelphia, New York, and Washington because the whole country gets involved with the rivalries. It works because of history....Cowboys vs Commanders, America's Team, North vs South, Blue States vs Red States. The rivalries fuel the television ratings. For some teams, regional rivalries might work but regional rivalries will rarely draw national audiences. The NFL is not college football.

Also, with the advent of commercial air travel, teams aren't spending countless hours on the bus or train for away games. :laugh2:

and everyone one else in another called They want to be Cowboys division..

than one lucky broadcaster "CBS" (other wise know as the Cowboys Broadcasting System) will air games from the Greatest division and the others can complain that they just don't get the good games

They have always hated the Cowboys because on envy; even after they lost the Oilers most either became Titans fans or Saints fans because of the envy.
