To me, it looked like nobody cared last night. The entire team looked lifeless, like they're just going through the motions. There doesn't appear to be any emotion or energy in their play.

I actually felt the Defense played with greater intensity, they are just severely flawed.

The Offense plays with no urgency. They take their sweet time, Dak's cadence is inconsistent and the line ends up holding their water too long.

They act like they're about to overmatch opponents until they get drilled in the backfield.

Dak then completes a 3 yard pass. Then someone drops a ball or he completely misfires a pass.

This is virtually every possession, save for the heaters they went vs WAS, HOU and to open vs BAL.

Regardless: Dak will still ultimately crap the bed when the chips are down.

Defenses scheme to take away opponent's weapons. That said, George Pickens is an offensive weapon who should not get his first target until three minutes left in the half. You treat him as a weapon getting 60%+ of his targets starting with the first quarter instead of waiting until the fourth quarter.

Pickens accounted for 50% of Dallas' ten longest plays in an anemic GOTI output. Four of those five plays were all in the fourth quarter. Want him focused? Throw him the ball sooner and often.

crazy how other teams have weapons and they STILL find ways to get them the ball

I watched in person last night, and I could always tell when GP was not the first option. If I can tell, other NFL teams can surely tell.

Robert Newhouse used to do that, then other teams figured that out.

George Pickens looks like he doesn't care. And you see why the Steelers wanted to get rid of him
Dallas doesn't seem to even look at Pickens so if you are not going to use him, trade him. And hell, don't re-sign him

Rashan Gary is invisible and especially playing against his former team. And like the Steelers, the Packers were
happy to get rid of Gary. But Jerry trades his best player to a Packers trash in Gary. And even Kenny Clark,
is did make some players against his former team, seems average at best.

Caleb Downs, who Dallas fans were so excited, as they were when Lamb was traded, to be the Savior. SB chants after being drafted. Downs is getting toasted and a player so good at Ohio State, looks like a 3rd round pick in Dallas.
Coaching and GM is a massive problem. And there is no fixing the second part.

This happens to every wr when he never gets the ball,ive seen the very best look bored when all their being used for is a decoy.

I didn't notice that, but he definitely does not run very good routes when he's not the first or second option.

Its not just him though. Downs is pretty awful.

Downs is also a rookie surrounded by a horrible defensive and rookie DC. Way to early to fully lay the hammer down on him

Pickens went along with franchise tag this time it was a huge pay increase . Can’t see him agreeing to it again . I don’t think he’s the kind of talent Dallas should let walk for what a 3rd round comp pick ? Try to get his signature on a three year deal .
