Our strength has been offense in most years. Now that we have one of the most legit WR positions in recent memory, we have to protect Dak. Losing Fredbeard really hit home with me. Not an attractive pick, but we need some nasty in the middle of our line. I've always been a BPA guy, but I'm concerned about how our O-Line is going to perform minus our dude. What do you guys think?

NO, we've invested enough for off-lineman!!!!!
We have 3 no 1 picks and a no 2 pick on the line enough is enough jeez!
How about we give some love to our DEFENSE!!!!

If one of the top guys fall to the 3rd, I'm on board but this next pick needs to be an impact player on defense.

Not a great class after Ruiz to be honest. I dont think Cushenberry and Biadasz are worth day 2 picks and might not be any more marginal starters in the NFL

Cushenberry has gotten some day 2 hype, but I really dont think he is that good

Just because you "invest" in a pick doesn't mean that it always works out. With respect, if we're going to beat teams on O, we better be damn sure ready to protect the man who's throwing the ball.

Losing him bothered me too. Having him at center was a luxury that is not easily replaced. I think he thought he was unable to play at the high level he was accustomed to and that's why he retired. No center in this year's draft after Ruiz is going to have that much of an impact over Looney. There's two reasons right now not to draft a center.

1. Ruiz is gone. Frederick is gone. We're not getting any huge upgrade, if at all, with the remaining centers over Looney. It would be a waste.

2. Fredbeard is still young. Don't totally dismiss a return next season. We don't know what's on his mind or what he plans to do. Maybe he wants to retire and enjoy life. Or maybe he goes full Rocky Balboa and plans to return lookin' like a yeti!

I wouldn't be surprised, outside of a punter, if the remaining picks were all on Defense.

CB, DE, DT..maybe a TE? Backup QB

I believe Center is the least of their worries.

Would something like DE Baun/DE Gross Mato in the 2nd and DT Blacklock/DT Gallimore in the 3rd make a difference in your view?

That would do the trick for this fan at least...

Where is Risen? I want to slide him a few of my likes. I love that dude.
