Get a Center!

Our strength has been offense in most years. Now that we have one of the most legit WR positions in recent memory, we have to protect Dak. Losing Fredbeard really hit home with me. Not an attractive pick, but we need some nasty in the middle of our line. I've always been a BPA guy, but I'm concerned about how our O-Line is going to perform minus our dude. What do you guys think?

Its almost more imperative that we get a real center now. Would hate to see all the passing talent go to waste with another 56 sack season.

I would secure C Tyler Biadasz Wisconsin in the 4th round. He is very similar to the play of Frederick when he was drafted. A good candidate...not costing the bank for the present.

4th rounder isnt going to replace Frederick.

I'm good my man. But thank you for your concern.
My wife says I should lay off the whiskey. But who am I without my whiskey? She drinks beer. Horse piss to me. When I go to Heaven, I'm gonna greet God with a happy demeanor.

Not a great class after Ruiz to be honest. I dont think Cushenberry and Biadasz are worth day 2 picks and might not be any more marginal starters in the NFL

Cushenberry has gotten some day 2 hype, but I really dont think he is that good

Cushenberry is 100% a good center prospect. Taking him in the 2nd would be great for me.

Frederick in his prime was a freak, but his play last season is very replaceable.

Not with Looney. LOL

Even a 70% Frederick was head and shoulders better than Looney. Not going to get away with a backup at Center.

Cowboys need a pro bowl type if they are going to maintain the dominance on the Oline.

Sure..right after they get a corner, Safety, D Tackle, swing tackle, TE and maybe another linebacker...

I'm more worried about our entire offense going to waste because we don't field a competent defense than I am about the offense being partially undermined because 1 of our 5 o-line positions might be a little sub-optimal.

I think Looney is an adequate starter. He won't torpedo us. And I think there's a decent chance one of the other options is even better and it's even less of a worry.

I'm all for spending a mid-round pick on another center option. Spending our top 2 picks on a 3rd WR and a guy who will only be our 4th or 5th best o-lineman at best seems like an indicator that we've gone back to the late 2000's problem where we were wasting too many of our high draft picks on offensive luxuries (like spending a top pick on Felix to be a backup RB or Roy Williams to be our 3rd option), and then we'd finish the season and scratch our heads wondering why our defense always holds us back while our offense is so dang good.

I think we should look at defensive players at some point.

Some of you guys think that magically we're going to fill the center position. It doesn't work that way, We need a guy who's gonna make the nose and tackles rethink themselves at half-time.

They drafted this guy in the 3rd round. He had a 2nd round grade.

Are you confident? I'm not. I know he was highly rated but I haven't seen too much. Not to take anything away from the guy but he's just average to me.
