No way both of them stay. They both want to start. Once they sign one the other is gone. They are both garbage anyway.
 
Cousins is a younger Alex Smith without the mobility. A system guy to his core. He can do well but needs the right situation. He is far from above average. The Browns will be going after him hard and I think thats where he belongs. Thats a fit. Good coach,New OC in Todd Haley and an up and coming D. I can see that working. If he goes to the Jets that will end his career. He's not a New York guy,wont work.

And in the games he did start during his first three years, he wasn’t very good.

But you want to get rid of a second year QB for him, because apparently Dak is done developing already?

Honestly.

Go back and look at cousins the first 3 years in he league. He barely played and when he did, he was mediocre and a turnover machine.

Quarterbacks take time people. They don’t hit their peak in year 2 in the league.

For crying out loud.

Since most people don't actually watch games aside from ours, they really don't know that all QB's miss passes, and that all QB's struggle w/ pressure. Aaron Rodgers has one of the worst ratings in the game vs the blitz. No one talks about it because he's the golden boy. Tony Romo was the highest rated QB in the 4th qtr of all time at one point. No one talks about it because he's the bashfest object.

The problem is, people get their info from BSPN. And BSPN is nothing but a human drama soap opera. They'll say anything to get ratings, including making crapp up. And since they don't watch the games, they get their info from some moron who doesn't even deserve the job he has.
 
The best you can hope for is Cousins going to a team that's drafting 1-18. Then QB slides a spot or two. Unfortunately, not enough.

what does this team lack, that couldn't be addressed this offseason? my personal opinion, the biggest problem with this team contending is coaching.

Not to bad here. Taking some time off work, fell off a ladder (8 feet) and landed on the concrete below on my side, nothing broken but it's still hard to move around. Outside of the pain I am enjoying my time off, working outside in 30 degree weather really sucks.
 
Cousins has a heart of a lion on the field..a real competitor. Thats the best part about him. Saying that,the best fit for him would be the Browns. They have everything in place to build a winner right now. He isnt physically gifted. But he is a winner and the Browns sorely need that at QB. Let Todd Haley get ahold of him and I can see good things.

Coaching is certainly a big issue. I just think they are generally firmly in the 8-8 pool. The OL’s period of dominance is likely about over (it’s extremely hard historically in the NFL to keep dominant position groups more than a few seasons), the passing game is a mess, and the defense while improving still got barbecued a lot by the better QBs.
Most teams in the NFL are 8-8 quality these days, and injuries, schedules and luck can push them a couple wins in either direction.

if wins and titles dont account for anything with QBs then why is Brady regarded as the best ever....if not for wins and titles.

QBs are judged by wins and championships....and those numbers are judged v other QBs in those categories.

I'm not a Cousins fan. He seems to just come up short too often at the end of games. Having said that, Cousins issues were reading defenses, processing, timing and stuff like that early in his career. It wasn't about not being able to make the throws. There are several throws I've yet to see Dak make. Deep outs?
 
Anyone ever notice that Cousin's lead teams had a penchant for losing big games. I suppose it could be Gruden, we tend to blame the HC. Or Snyder, we tend to blame the owner too. Then again maybe the QB did have something to do with it in bygone days. Let's not find out and break the bank like we did a few years ago for "the players" paper stats and yardage but nothing to show for it. Hell yeah I'd take Brady, paper stats plus trophies. The again we could credit NE's HC like we do our own or their owner like we do our own ;)
